Don't think i've ever seen the last track on an album be the first single!

*awaits line of people to tell me i'm wrong" :P

Wow. I'm a failure. I haven't been keeping up with what the band's been doing. Learned about this trilogy TODAY. and I'm STOKED. This is the sound I like.

American Idiot and 21CBD were really good, but this is just my style. I dig it so hard.

This AND the Offspring's new album. Blast from my musical past. damn.

I wanted to say Minority, I guess that one is the closest we get with comparing with previous Green Day singles

Walking contradiction...

I thought Geek Stink Breath was the first single off of Insomniac. Don't quote me on that, I was only 5 at the time! ;)

It is safe to say that it never happened before. Here's an overview of all first singles of each album since Dookie for those interested:

Dookie: Longview - track 4

Insomniac: Geek Stink Breath - track 4

Nimrod: Hitchin a Ride - track 2

Warning: Minority - track 11 (almost)

American Idiot: American Idiot

21CB: Know Your Enemy - track 3

Well, I was wrong about the handwritten list being the tracklist for Uno! Only six of them were right. Oh well, I tried :)

Really looking forward to see ¡Tré!'s trailer! I'm really curious to see how this sounds. And I have a feeling that this trilogy is gonna be a classic after 20 years or so.

I'm excited about "Kill the DJ" I'll be honest. It sounds promising.

So am I. I'm interested as to how Green Day is going to, in Billie's words, "make dance music without turning into a dance band".

Also, I'd just love some Green Day to dance to :P

My mom would liek that. She is musically uneducated and only likes music when she can dance to it

I hope that on parties I will dance to Green Day, not only to One Direction and other Call Me Maybe. My friends always choose music.

Yes, that's exactly what I like!

Not to mention Uno will be out by the time of my cousin's wedding... :shifty:

I'm really intrigued by that too. I mean you can dance to any GD song, but I can't imagine an actual GD dance song.

And kind of irrelevant, but yeah, I was totally wrong about the Sweet 16/Angel Blue thing. Shows that even casual analyzing is pointless.

I thought this over and, actually, I think it's cool having a hit single as the last traack on the album. (Oh Love is already a hit single in my head by the way).

Disc art? I always imagines it like the cover but in a CD, or only the backgroud without the face.

I think I read in an interview that Sharpest Lives by MCR was their try at a dance song, so as far as Kill the DJ goes, I'm thinking something like that. Fast and upbeat. (Obviously)
