The Trilogy Albums: ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!

Don't forget they've been making some sort of film documenting the creative process of making the albums, so I'm sure there will be some sort of set of all three albums plus a DVD once they've all been released.

So yeah I wanna wait for that ! It'll be worth it, that's for sure.

After all the excitement and the waiting, why is it that so many people are not buying uno the day it comes out!?

The price might be too high and will wait til it lowers down or they want to wait for a box set of the 3 albums.

I for one will be buying it on the day it comes out :D

Ahh! I can't wait! I really hope they go on tour. UNO! DOS! TRE! XD

I won't wait if I can help it. This whole thing deserves good sales, not that they have to lower the price because we think the hard work they've been doing for us doesn't deserve the money they are asking for. Also, I had already been expecting around 20€, though it will probably have a pretty good drop for the actual release.

I'm not worried about the price of the album(s)

If the price is too high there will always be a place with a good/better offer :)

I think the DVD should come with Tre.It would suck if after buying the albums they release a DVD too separately.

How many times have we already discussed the pricing of the albums?

£10 here is reasonable, pretty cheap actually. Actually seeing it there for pre-order on HMV makes it seem so much more real and even more exciting... :D

alas, once again I get a page own with a shitty post

I hope its priced around 200 bucks in Indian Currency. Cos 10 dollars would mean shelling out 500+ bucks for us. Which sucks big time.

Amazon.de lists it for 16.99€, being released on Sept. 21.

Seems like this is the actual release date for Germany (and Central Europe?) since the official German website also listed the 21st as the release date for Uno.

Has anyone considered that the pre-order site that was set up was so fans can pre-order all three at the same time, perhaps with extras? Just a thought.

That's what I was thinking, either with extras or at a discounted price for buying all three in one go.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I think I mentioned somewhere that with Kelly Clarkson's new album last year, on her official site we could preorder the deluxe edition of her CD, which came with an exclusive bonus EP with 6 acoustic versions of her songs. We also got a poster and shirt. If Green Day did something like that, that would be cool. Bonus songs (or a whole bonus EP!), maybe a poster and shirt. I would buy it that way! The only problem is my stuff arrived a week late, which I expected; I bought the album in a store the day of its release, so now I have 2 copies of the CD.....

ALSO:

With the news that "Oh Love" is the first single from Uno, that supports what I posted yesterday (about the handwritten list in the Uno trailer possibly being the album's tracklisting). :toocool:

4 days before. I guess that must be real because Linkin Park's and The Offspring's new albums came out 4 days earlier too so... Right now i'm glad I live in Germany. :D

Just German. In Poland we'll get Uno on Sept. 24. And 16,99€ is about 70 zlotys. Not bad. 21 Century Breakdown costed about 80 zlotys 3 years ago.

Keep in mind that prices for pre-orders tend to get lowered as the release date approaches. They're always listed over-priced until further details are available (track list, runtime, packaging, etc.)

I think the release of a single this early could indicate how they plan on doing the singles with so many albums.... I don't know what it means exactly, but maybe they're leaving enough time to release 3 singles on Uno by October, giving Dos enough room to enjoy itself, and so forth?

What's tough is that they have to give the singles enough time to perform and peak on their own. They can't send out a bunch of songs in a relatively small time margin and expect radio to play all of them. It'll be interesting to see how they work it out.

Yeah, I guess only Katy Perry can do that

There I go assuming each song will immediately peak and valley in the perfect amount of time I want them to

I almost wonder if there will be just one single per album. Especially since Reprise is counting the trillogy as one record and they're being released too close together for multiple singles. At most, I could see two, but three singles per album (nine) seems unrealistic in the time given.

Warning only had 12 songs, but it had like four singles. If Warner is only counting this as one album, an album with 36 songs, woudn't they have to do Warning times three for a good single ratio? Twelve seems unrealistic, though, so I could see them doing nine, three per album, if they spaced them out well.

After watching the trailer for Dos ,something tells me that this trilogy is going to be the most incredible thing Green Day has ever done..
