It's that video where they talk about how it's all about sex, how voyeuristic it is etc.

Might be they weren't happy with how much the media reported on that, you could interpret what they said as "all the songs will be about steamy sex", most of the media assumed that and reported it that way. I read a lot of comments about people saying they're worried about their kids hearing "the album".

I've always been glad that my parents don't understand English :D When I was at the record store with my mom (it was like 7 or 8 years ago, oh god), and I bought American Idiot, mom saw explicit lyrics sign and asked: what's that? And I was like: oh, nothing really special, just record label logo

I'm also excited for ¡Dos! the most. Garage rock sounds kinda cool and Fuck Time will be in it! And I think Carpe Diem too, I read?

Clever :P

I don't think my parents ever really cared about that, as long as I don't start swearing to everyone for no reason, what's the harm?

As for the other kind of explicit lyrics, we're not all that big on ignorance here compared to for example the US… I think.

i have never had problems with explicit contents.. here in Brazil the most popular band during the 90's, which was my favourite band that time, has the most explicit lyrics as you can imagine though they played on the radio and television all the time... the band for who doesn't know is called Raimundos... if you guys don't mind listening to something in other languages check it out, it worth...

I sure hope Adeline presses vinyl versions of all three albums. I'd rather have the vinyl than the CD.

on album cover background/green day font color swirl (e.g. uno on green/pink vinyl)

[slightlyofftopic]talkin bout vinyl colors, they should release a poo brown dookie (or at least white/clear with brown splatter) and a yellow nimrod.[/slightlyofftopic]

btw, i spotted that they seem to use complementary colors for the covers. if they follow that rule, tre should have a dark blue background with yellow font.

The only thing I worry (kind of) about is that they won't be able to play IFT on radio. I mean, they can always silence the word "fuck" itself or do any other things they usually do, but without this "Oh baby baby it's FUCK TIME" it's not gonna be the same. But to be honest I don't listen radio at all last 2-3 years so that's not gonna be a big problem

Hopefully the vinyls will just be normal black the coloring of the vinyl degrades the sound quality badly they are really just for the looks and not playing...

normal colored vinyl sounds just about as good as black vinyl. it starts getting worse @ splatter, and picture discs sound awful (compared to black/single color). and i'm pretty sure they will release it on black vinyl, i just hope for limited color vinyls.

To be honest, compared to most of the shit being released on the radio these days, I think It's Fuck Time is still pretty decent.

You're right, I don't know for sure, because I really didn't listen radio and watch tv for a very long time, but I heard something about song titles like "Stupid hoe" on radio and I was like: WTF, world?!

Its so good to have things happening in Green Day land again

Have we any idea what album(if any) Stray Heart will be on? Even from the shitty recordings, that song sounded amazing

Apart from that, words cannot describe how happy I am that there's gonna be a studio version of Stay The Night. It'll be like reliving the Marlay Park soundcheck

I hope you have the luck I didn't have with Mike :ermm: Also, I am pretty impatient to listen for the first time ever to Drama Queen or Stay The Night. I have never listened to them.

I listen to the radio only in car with mom, but I in Poland not every station censor the lyrics. I think it will be possible to hear full Fuck Time. And then I don't want to see my mom's face expression when she will realise that she hears Green Day.

Oh Danny... =/ I understand if you don't like it. But think that maybe it has cool photos of him in the booklet

Besides, there's a lot of photos that will come with this new era.
