Nemo.
If what you're saying is you don't think Mike and Trè will sing all the songs in ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!, then I agree with you (and I'¡d hate to see that happening). But I do think it's perfectly plausible that there will be one song by Mike and one by Tré in ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! respectively. They each have done vocals for song before (aka Homecoming, Governator, All by myself...), and since they're releasing three albums I guess it's their time to experiment, and I think it'd be something very cool if they didi t. i totally agree with that one song sang by mike or tre is okay but not the whole album. and it´s impossible to do that on tour, esp for the songs which tré sings

Bastard of 1967
The preview in the trailer sounds heavily influenced by the Stray Cats. I for one am psyched about the rockabilly feel in it I'm not picking up Stray Cats in it -- I guess there's a slice of Rockabilly influence in it, I can hear a bit of that, but it's definitely not up-tempo swing. Even *that* would be going out on a limb for Green Day. What I *am* hearing, though, is a real presence of Mike's bass in the mix again. That is SO wonderful to hear again and I'm full of squee over it.

Fuzz
Mixing last week http://distilleryimage1.s3.amazonaws.com/7db99d22b1ba11e1abb01231382049c1_7.jpg You can tell by the slight drop on #7 that the drums won't be as loud as before, maybe this means that the guitar and vocals will take a much stronger lead. Which probably means that Jason White is recording and is now a full time member. I wonder if everything is alright with the band? Maybe they're mad a Tre and punishing him a little bit? Maybe Mike and Billie are thinking of starting a new band? /sarcasm Just wanted to try my hand at over-analyzing!
Android Jesus
I'm really anxious about the trilogy, I don't really know what to expect about the sounds, the cover for Uno was really different from what I thought, so I don't know about the music, but I'm sure it will be awesome. I'm really excited!!

DannyDirnt
I really hope bass is stronger in this album, I like its deep sound. You keep saying this, why? Where are you getting this from? Just because he's the one on the ocver of the album or soemthing? Because none of the things I've seen or read have led mer to believe this, or have I missed something? It was the first time I said this. And I said it because people seemed to agree in that before, also he is the one who reveals most of things, although that could well be because he's the frontman. I also think that if you rearrange the letters of the song names, it's an anagram telling us that Adrienne will be singing lead vocals. Sorry, I just had to. I thought you were serious when I first started reading that.

Katarina.
But seriously, how wonderful would it be if TLE would be the opening band for Green Day on their European tour, especially in the Netherlands? Yeah that would be epic. TLE as an opening band though.. doesn't sound right. I'd almost say co-headlining or something. I don't know..

Problem with judging from this mix of the track is that it's in relatively low quality and not very wide sounding. I'm guessing it's just a demo mix and Mike's bass will be silenced slightly in the final thing.

And I didn't think that quality was low at all, supposing you're talking about the track n ¡Uno!'s trailer
Bastard of 1967
If that happens in the final songs I'll die of happiness because bass is my favorite instrument I credit Mike for showing me what great bass is supposed to sound like...then they mostly muffled him in 21stCB. While I still do like that album overall, it's mostly because of Billie's phenomenal songwriting, Tre's percussion, and how it sounds all put together. It's easily the most artistic they've ever been, but Mike's too good a bass player to be shoved into the background like that. I'm very, very glad that Rob Cavallo knows how to use Mike's talents well. Problem with judging from this mix of the track is that it's in relatively low quality and not very wide sounding. I'm guessing it's just a demo mix and Mike's bass will be silenced slightly in the final thing. At worst, I'm expecting the placement of the pieces in the mix to resemble a cross between AI and FBHT, or maybe Rob has something completely different in mind. I actually think the iUno! teaser sounds pretty good as is, and might be further along in terms of production quality than you're giving it credit for. Regardless, I just really hope they don't push Mike into the far background the way Butch did with him on 21stCB.
Fuzz
I agree with the above sentiments. I want more Mike in these recordings. The preview gives me a hard on because of the nice thump from the bass, I hope there's more where that came from. Listened to some early Green Day the other day (Dookie and Nimrod) and was reminded just how awesome Mike's bass lines were. He definitely needs to be heard more than he was in the last two albums. DannyDirnt
In the secret shows, concretely in Mezzanine, Mike's bass was very easy to hear during Welcome to Paradise. I'm getting the feeling that they want to use the bass properly again. Actually I don't like how 21CB mutes bass, I can't even hear it at all. Also, the preview in the trailer shows that basslines won't only follow guitar, but complement it like in older albums. I hope I'm not overanalysing this.
