DoodleBob
I don't think so. It's Fuck Time could have continued as a live-only song and people would enjoy it anyway. I don't think they would put a song they don't really love themselves on an album just because it's awkwardly cool live. Well, just because a song isn't on an album doesn't mean they don't love it. They could've felt like it was more of a Foxies song and leaned towards not putting it on the album, but when they played it live they might've been like "Wow, we're getting such a good reaction to this song. Maybe we should put it on one of the albums because people seem to love it." And yeah. Fuck Time could've just been a live-only song and done fine, but the crowd was so into it that they might have decided to put it on the album. Either way I'm glad it made it. The best thing about It's Fuck Time being on the new albums? Finally, we get to know the offical lyrics. They kept changing the lyrics every time they played it live. So true! Requila
Pretty excited to hear Drama Queen if it will be on one of the albums. I'm sure the song has changed since we've heard it in 2010 2009. Green Day released 3 acoustic guitar songs till now (Good Riddance, Macy's Day Parade and When It's Time), which all were also released as a single (MDP as a promo single). I really like Drama Queen, but I don't think it's as good as the previous acoustic songs. Besides that, the rest of the setlist we've seen so far doesn't have any acoustic songs as far as we know. I think the only reason of releasing an acoustic song in an album with this kind of Foxboro-sound is if the song is really outstanding.
DannyDirnt
I hope they don't play other acoustic than those on tours. I didn't like to see Christie Road ruined that way.

DannyDirnt
I freaking love Christie Road and I liked the AAF version at first, but now I prefer the album version. I just realised I was always waiting for the non-acoustic part xD
ThibautDookie
Maybe the three members will change instruments for an album. Like : - they will have the normal setup for Uno ( Billie singing and on the guitar, Mike on bass and Tré on drums). - Mike singing and playing guitar, Billie playing drums and Tré playing guitar) for Dos - Tré on guitar and singing, Billie playing bass and Mike playing drums) for Tre. Now that's what i call a fun record, if there is hidden tracks, and skits between songs, i can expect an awesome and a funny stuff to listen

I just realised I was always waiting for the non-acoustic part xD hehe i love both versions...but i think i prefer the AAF version, though it depends on which mood i'm in ...as for the new album i hope there'll be an acoustic number or maybe 2 or 3 but not too much, cos i love acoustic numbers but i wanna have fast punk rock songs, too
alienlifeform
well...I really don't want mike singing a song... his voice is great for be a backing vocal but not for a main singer... but i really hope that billie and mike sing together some 2 or 3 songs.. like Dry Ice and Scattered.. this would be very very nice

In one of there studio videos it even shows Mike playing Drums.

I love this version! I love all acoustic versions of Green Day songs. They're different and a bit specific. But Christie Road is beautiful in all versions. but the most on bootleg Green Day live on air

DannyDirnt
I didn't like acoustic for Christie Road and Whatsername. Truth is I prefer tracks with all instruments. But if Mike sings in the trilogy I'm going to be listening to it alone in my living room for days.

July21
just found this on ultimate-guitar.com and i really had to laugh! always these smart-alecky people who actually don't have a clue.. best part: "i know they are not linguists or polyglots, but they ARE fucking rich - they should just run this by someone who actually speaks spanish first"
Florence
One question. You avatar has "¡Flo!" on it. Where did you get the font or whatever you used to write ¡Flo! on it? Downloaded lots of fonts a while ago. The font in my ava is called "Dead Kansas", I got it from www.dafont.com It's not exactly the one used in the original cover, though, so I had to stretch it a bit. :/ EDIT: the font looks similar to the one from American Idiot, just slanted. Well everyone has their own opinion but I really don't think you can say it was ruined, Seeing as Billie wrote the original then chose to play an acoustic version of the song live. It's not like another artist doing an acoustic cover of the song and ruining it. It was all Green Day.
