How is she connected to Green Day? She was the lead singer of a 90s punk band called Bikini Kill that Green Day have often mentioned they're fans of. She sang the "nobody likes you" intro on Letterbomb. There's also a Pinhead Gunpowder song about her (Kathleen). And Know Your Enemy has some similarities to Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill (the drums at the beginning and scream of "revolution!" in particular), although that's not really a proper connection haha.
