MTV had this right. It was a full-court press late Thursday. Way to go, Green Day Family! Also, if you're reading this Andres, I was wondering if you could embed the poll onto GDA again. I don't have access to a computer right now, so I'm on my iPod, and I found it a lot easier to vote on GDA than on the MTV website. For some reason my iPod doesn't like their website. Thanks. With every single click it tries to divert you to your home MTV site, and it is beyond annoying. Also, with this and the awkward voting page, it is practically impossible to use on the phone. Comments like this make me even more angry at Mr Iero... ah well... I havent voted all day so what can I say?? I feel bad for MCR fans that wanted to do this, must feel bad having your own team back down after getting pumped. I've been listening to MCR today and I've barely voted for Green Day so far. I like MCR too, but a tweet like that when the fans have bothered to get them through to the end is just mean in my opinion. I don't really care about the poll to be honest, I voted for the first time ten minutes ago, but if his fans are having fun voting then I don't see why he needs to make comments like that. Clearly he does because he spent his time writing a tweet that would diss his own fans trying to honor them by voting for them. I fully understand Green Day not caring about the trophy, but at the very least if you mention the contest, show respect for your fans working for you. I mean, his word isn't the be all and end all; it won't make you a 'bad fan' if you vote for mcr anyway. Besides, if you think about the number of tweets band members must get about this poll and others similar to it, you can see why it'd get annoying.
