I always forget about Billie's tweets about songs. I'll add that to the OP, thanks!

One of my favorites off of Kerplunk. This is one of the songs I listen to on repeat a lot, but that's not saying a lot considering it's Green Day and that applies to most of their songs.

Such an underrated song, and a great choice to celebrate Kerplunk's 20th b'day :)

No One Knows has always been one of my favourite songs, and Kerplunk would have to be my 2nd favourite album behind American Idiot. I absolutely love the bass intro to this song, it just sounds so relaxing, and can take the listener to a different place. Then the rest of the band kick in, and the tone of the song is quite sad in the verses, but I've always found it to be weirdly uplifting during the chorus. Like, it isn't majorly happy or anything but there's just something about it.

I've always loved this song, but its sombre nature discourages me from listening to it when I'm in bad form.

Every single time I think of the word 'habitual' I think of No One Knows. I have no idea why, I assume Kerplunk was also a dictionary of sorts for me.

This is one of my favorite Green Day songs. I really love the bass line and how vocals are done almost in a consent way, just to reach the pitch at the very end when there are two vocal lines and they overlap.

Somehow, I always imagine listening to this song on a chilly August afternoon, when it's cloudy and raining. Sitting on a broad window pane, and staring outside.

Such a beautiful song . Both the lyrics and music have a bleak and pensive feel, it's hauntingly beautiful. I adore the bassline and the harmonies. Love how it starts so quietly and builds up until the point where there's lots going on with the two voices singing together, and then drops away to quietness again at the end.
