From an objective point of view, you have to vote for Billie Joe. If you take a look at all the other competitors, you'll notice that the remaining artists/bands can't come up - not even close - to Billie Joe's stage presence respectively his talent in general.

There are some bands that come close (Muse, Take That e.g.) and others that aren't able to perform at such a event due to not existing talent (Tokio Hotel, Justin Bieber, 30 Seconds To Mars).

This means, the only logical vote can go to Billie Joe even if it would only be a solo performance :) I'm not quite sure about him winning though. This Korean band seems to have a HUGE fanbase and artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber can exhibit more fans than Green Day (Billie) too...

yeah...OMG thanks that you say that Tokio Hotel has no talent :hug::D ...ok, 30 Seconds To Mars is an ok band in my opinion, but they're nothing against Billie, so i mainly agree with you :) ...and i even think if we all vote for Billie and he really gets the chance to play there, i'm sure he'll bring the rest of green day to the show, too ;)

You have to vote for One Direction. If they find out you're having a hard time they'll tweet you to check if you're ok!!! Obviously that means they've got the talent to open the Olympics. Apparently they can entrance a crowd with a tambourine!

Yeah, I have to agree that Billie even without Green Day is the best choice by far even if I wasn't a fan. There really are some talentless people on there. Anyway, my phone finally let me vote so it's all good :D

The Green Day thing to do would be for Mike and Tre to show up anyway and completely overshadow the Olympics with a badass performance.
