WTF, 'Billie Joe Armstrong' doesn't sound as good as Green Day, so why they didn't included the band? This is happening often lately :(

But I'm seeing that you can add whoever you want? That's great! ...going to add Green Day :dance:

If this actually did occur my faith in the entire London Olympics would be restored...maybe they just have a vision of Billie's Time of Your Life performance that's why it's not GD. Although Green Day would be awesome and make a lot more sense. I'm glad they've even thought to include to him though, but in my opinion shouldn't it be a British artist that performs?

But if Justin Bieber opens at any point that's just a bloody insult.

yeah apparently if you wait for a while after you vote the first time, you can vote again...but Green Day aren't already on the list =/

However I was thinking...when only Billie was supposed to go the interview in NYC, the whole band went...and when the whole band was supposed to go to the Mark Twain Prize, only Billie Joe went...so we never know :lol:

we probably should vote for Billie Joe when we want to see the whole band then :lol: (and if anyone of you just wants to see Billie, then vote for Green Day :lol: ) jk

I think any 'new additions' have to be approved. I know a friend tried to add Green Day as well, however they haven't added it yet. I'm guessing that's because they know it would be a duplication.

It would be better if they changed BJA to Green Day i think, however if this does come to fruition, i feel sure the whole band would end up doing it ;)

As far as I know, all they are is an autotuned, soppy little boyband from The X Factor who only have 'fans' because girls find them attractive. I'm sorry, but that isn't why you like a band.

Billie is at 29 now :) a 71-place jump in a few hours is brilliant! All we need now is another 28 places :D

That's what I was wondering. The Olympics are a huge deal, and it seems weird to have a poll determining who is preforming. Y'know?

I know that it's separate from the Olympics in terms of an "official" capacity. However, just look at GDA/GDC... are we quite similar in terms of our standing? We still do what we do, and people take notice. So there is a chance that more "official" people will take notice of this. Especially if it gets bombarded with votes from us, and fans of other artists alike :)
