Billie Joe Armstrong nominated in the "The Top Tens" to perform at the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremonies

Billie Joe Armstrong has been nominated as one of the 'contenders' to perform at the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremonies. At time of writing, he is in at number 100 as a contender. The current top 10 list includes acts such as One Direction, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

First question, why is it just Billie Joe? The top ten list and contenders includes full bands such as Coldplay and Muse. I wonder what makes them think Billie Joe alone would be better than Green Day? Anyway, we all know that Green Day is greater than the sum of it's parts, so hopefully we can change this!

I think it says just Billie Joe because you can add your own suggestions to the list, and I'm guessing someone who are more into Billie than Green Day have made that suggestion. Which kind of just makes me want to add a new suggestion saying Green Day instead of voting for this one.
