So is this 100% sure now or what?

I hope it is. I like the sound of an arena tour better! :D

how legit is this? i mean..they tease us hardcore-like with their studio videos at the moment..why should they tell someone that they will tour later this year, they didnt announce till yet when their new album will be released and whether there will be a tour so soon

Is there any precedence for an isolated arena tour in one country that isn't part of a larger tour? Have they done that before? It just seems kinda random.

I don't know,he always showed he didn't like studying,so I don't think he'll like reading either

Where does it say that that's what's happening? I assumed that the UK arena tour in question would be a part of a larger tour, but that the UK part is the only one mentioned here because it's the only one relevant to whether they play Reading/Leeds or not? I didn't read through that entire thread though, so might have missed something!

I think they only mentioned UK since they talked about Reading and Leeds, that they will come to UK anyway, even if they dont play there. I'm pretty sure the UK tour is a part of a European tour.

I really can't tell you how much I like the sound of that!

Why does people like Reading Festivals so much for Green Day? They are like any other performance,I guess.

Have you ever seen them live?

There's a couple of billing mistakes as well - Slipknot would not be subbing,

Slipknot were due to play third down in 2008 before cancelling last minute due to an injury...and under Tenacious D + Metallica, so a higher place and under Green Day isn't impossible! :P

but yeah, fake. if only for the timing.

I don't know if it was already mentioned here, and I don't want to open a thread, but there are strong rumors that Green Day will be headlining the French festival Rock en Seine. The line up will be revealed on the 13th.

It had been mentioned but we weren't sure how true it was...

Oh okay! Well, it's been rumored, but now it's like 90% sure according to several sources. I'm still checking "reliable" websites to see if this is true or not, but I guess we'll just have to wait until the 13th.

Don't believe it unless the post is from the official efestivals account on that forum, its just idle speculation!

According to that official account, Foo Fighters, Kasabian and The Cure have been confirmed as the headliners of Reading/Leeds with Black Keys and Florence and the Machine under them.

Rumours about a concert in Italy here: http://www.facebook.com/indipendenteconcerti.fanpage?sk=app_361349663888162

not exactly a rumour, that is the official page of Vivo concerti, they organize concerts and festivals...there's a festival in September called Indipendent day festival in Bologna
