gmcloughlin
They say that about every country they visit. Like the way Ron Blake was from Dublin and London and Paris and Berlin, etc. Don't forget, Billie said he was from Wexford at Marlay Park I can see this happening, especially now with that festival in Japan confirmed
colour_me_stupid_
Green Day mentioned again as headliners. Hoping there will be an official announcement soon! http://www.gigwise.c...s-Festival-2012 Last year an exclusive source told Gigwise that Green Day, Foo Fighters and The Prodigy are set to headline this year's Reading and Leeds festival. . The bands will headline the annual event, which takes place from August 24-26 in Reading and Leeds. As previously reported on Gigwise Melvin Benn, managing director at organiser Festival Republic, revealed that he's already made some "very exciting" bookings for 2012. Foo Fighters are down as "TBC" (to be confirmed) on efestivals.com...
DoodleBob
They say that about every country they visit. Like the way Ron Blake was from Dublin and London and Paris and Berlin, etc. they said they were from Sweden too haha xD Regardless, I don't understand why people are shooting down the idea of them starting the *possible* tour in the UK. Just because they haven't before, doesn't mean that they'll never do it.
Tre_Gina
Finally EFestivals has got Green Day down as a rumour for R and L! http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/reading/2012/lineup.shtml They also seem to think Kasabian are to be confirmed - do you guys think they are headliners or would they play under someone?
jtdscape
If they are playing they would be headliners, I highly doubt that they would play under anyone.

Velocity
Green Day and The Gaslight Anthem. Like...just that makes me so happy like ;LA;LKDSF. If I had the money I'd be there in a second. But Foo Fighters, the Black Keys, Rancid, Less than Jake, Vampire Weekend, Lostprophets too. I can't handle the awesomeness.
Holly
I really think they might play this year, considering they played Summer Sonic and Reading/Leeds 2004 before American Idiot was released. If they are to play, I'm not sure whether to go to both Reading and Leeds or not. I was thinking if they're at Reading on the Sunday I could do my usual week at Leeds and just go to Reading for the last day to see them again. I am getting way too excited about it considering nothing is confirmed, but
Heather.
Because I have fucking rabbit eyes, I can tell you that Green Day is set for Leeds Monday August 16, according to that poster at least.
Silent Duck
Lineup looks a bit suspicious to me. I doubt Slipknot would play if they weren't headliners, Kasabian don't really seem like headliner material either. Although MCR were surprising headliners last year so I could be totally wrong! If that is the line up, it's going to be a pretty sore hour and a half for anyone on the barrier during Slipknot's set waiting for Green Day! You me at Six are going to need umbrellas too with all the bottles that are going to be thrown at them.

okotavio
I doubt Slipknot would play if they weren't headliners Seriously? I don't know Slipknot a lot and I don't even like them, but they played at Rock in Rio with Metallica being the headliner. There's also Rancid! Tons of Armstrongs on the same day. I think I'll still be up on the whitsundays at that time but it'll be early in the morning here (like 6.15am!) so I'll just have to get up super early to here what it is. It better be Green Day or I'll be super pissed.... As to the line up above... I doubt it. Slipknot for Leeds? Really???

VivaRomy
Poster is a fake. No way would the line-up've leaked as early as this, last year it was a couple of days before, not a month. My guess is that it's a very good photoshop and someone's just printed it out to make it look like it's from a magazine! There's a couple of billing mistakes as well - Slipknot would not be subbing, and they certainly wouldn't be subbing Green Day and You Me At Six would not be that high up! Chase and Status are in the wrong place and Kaiser Chiefs wouldn't be on the same level as YMAS & Lostprophets, especially not after being a subheadliner a couple of years ago. In short: it's fake xD wouldn't be surprised if they'd got the headliners right though!
