theotherjc Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 1) When I was in 5th grade, American Idiot had just come out...and I swore that I hated it and would always hate it (I've since changed) based solely on the fact that I was a purist and I believed that if a band wasn't from the 60's, 70's or 80s they sucked, but after constantly hearing my friends play it...it grew on me...I got it for Christmas and played it all the time...I then found Dookie in my dad's cd collection and started looking back on all of the old stuff...now I'm the biggest Green Day fan of all my friends...(and probably in my town too).
