GDM
did u recommend michelle's boyfriend's band? Honah Lee. You know I did! I love them. long shot in the dark, though, they are so hit and miss with people. I forgot to tell him they have an unrecorded song in defense of Ben Weasel, lol. Also the Atom Age, a quirky band from Michigan called The Plurals (they have a female drummer/singer), and two teenagers from California called The Bots. The Plurals are a little quirky, they try experimental weird stuff and pure pop punk, but they give a good live show. The Atom Age has two funny videos out on youtube. "Kill Surf City" and "Baby Knows", very funny surf rock with a sax! The Bots are adorable. I think they should hook up with Emily's Army.

gerardsangel4977
I don't see them wanting to document their everyday movements as fodder for the fans. You mean like Billie tweeting about getting attacked by pigeons and being thrown off flights for wearing saggy pants? Not to mention those voice messages they used to post on greenday.com years back. Karen.
I didn't want to even reference the PPMB but it seemed wrong that the speculation here was so crazy when they had so much info. They are scary! People here are nice!
melissawebster
it was posted here yesterday evening super sleuth. Jeez. Was that really necessary? I didn't see it posted already and people were still speculating, so I was just providing information that was given to me on another site, because I obviously wasn't the only one who hadn't seen it yet. Sorry if it offended you.
pasalaska
Larry just tweeted! Adeline Records Presents: The Thing That Ate Larry Livermore not a big surprise anymore For those of you who don't get the title, it's a reference to an old Lookout Records compilation album called The Thing That Ate Floyd, that had a load of East Bay punk bands including The Lookouts and Operation Ivy. Hermione
Oh good, because that and 21st Century Breakdown are my favorites, and the music is so different you can really see how they evolved. I haven't heard Kerplunk yet, but from what I've heard from other people, it's mostly like 1039 in style and the type of songs, so I'm sure I'm going to love it too. It would have sucked if the re-mastered stuff was noticeably different. You'll definitely love it! It is similar to 1039 (and the songs are rough sounding like 1039) but the songs aren't as lovey-dovey and they'd progressed loads, it's a lot like Dookie as well. Awesome album! And as a bonus there's an extremely fabulous little story in the album booklet too (written by none other than Larry Livermore).
Tripe
haha! awesome!! yea, i sent suggestions to him in a pm. lurking is safer, for sure! Yes, they already brutalized Abbey's post a little bit, LOL. It reminds me of the way this place was when it was a whole lot meaner several years ago. Still, some pretty funny shit. Larry, I see you reading this thread down there. Good luck with your new venture!

I absolutely can't see anything that isn't awesome coming out of this collab. Spy Rock Memories comes full circle.

Ok seriously guys if you are still doubting if this is real, or don't know whats happening, just read the PPMB thread. the link's been posted like 3 times now. it pretty much explains everything. It'll be interesting to see which bands he picks. pssst Larry if you are lurking this...put Dead To Me on the comp. best band in the Bay Area right now.
