Long shot but has anyone thought that it might be about Billie making music with Livermore (he is a musician after all) rather than him simply being involved in the production/label side?

Now that sure makes sense. Good thought! Or just releasing something from Billie, possibly.

I mean, Green Day is simply too big to release a record on something off Larry's.

Yeah I was thinking more in terms of another side project with Billie Joe, Livermore and somebody else... WHO KNOWS? :)

It's like that recycling advert: "The possibillieties are endless"!

I know, but I don't think that's too realistic. The tweet doesn't really suggest that, imo. Just my opinion though :)

if that was intended to be a pun, then I love it!

I'm guessing it's most likely a job offer with Adeline, though it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Maybe, just maybe, the Lookouts will finally be released on CD :woot:

unlikely. :(

I wonder if this is the complitation he is looking at putting out?

THE compilation? I'm not following Larry on twitter, am I missing something?

Even though it's unlikely, the Lookouts on CD, that would be so great! Even more so if that meant better quality songs. :woot:

I never heard of "the compilation", I wonder what it is about?

Don't other big bands release records with a small label?

It would be cool, if GD really want to do something underground like that for the next album...

It would be fine for the Tubbies too :creep:

My first reaction was "Side project," but then I thought "Would that really bring Larry Livermore back into the business?" I mean, yes, it's exciting, but producing a Tubbies album, though a great honor, might not be something he feels he needs to do. IDK... side project doesn't scream "offer I can't refuse"...

My guess: Larry Livermore will be producing Green Day's new album.

Reality: Dylan Starks is most likely a fucking moron.

Larry producing Green Day's new album would be.. wow.. epic? :o

But I don't think it's likely or something..

I just want to know what it is, so I can determine if my over-analyses and over-excitement upon reading his tweet are justified.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be awesome and I can't wait. :runaround:

I initially thought he would help rerecord 1039 and Kerplunk. That would be awesome

Would also be epic -- especially since he produced the originals.
