HaushinkaSins Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 so, taylor swift did a cover of green day's time of your life at her concert on sept 2nd. she even wrote the lyrics 'for what its worth, it was worth all the while' on her arm. thought i'd share (the second video is the whole song)
Whatsername1911 Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I guess Emily's Army saw her too. And met her backstage. Who woulda thunk it.
Jaymee!! Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 This was the show that Emily's Army attended.
Jaymee!! Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 She did a decent cover, even if it was only one verse. It's great to hear such a large, different crowd singing along wholeheartedly.
HaushinkaSins Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 ^^ i totally agree. im not really a T swift fan, but i thought this was nice.
bjrules Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 As lame as this is, I am actually a really big Taylor Swift fan, so I am happy about this. And the reason that she had the lyrics written on her arm is not actually because she needed to have them there in case she forgot the words, its because for every show she randomly writes some lyrics on her arm that mean something to her at that time. Anyway, I'm betting that this cover will probably get alot of hate on this forum, but oh well. And I haven't actually watched the video yet, so I don't actually know if she did well or not haha.

Laura! Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I'm not a big Taylor Swift fan but this cover isn't bad at all!
VanVan Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Wow, when I saw this topic I went "oh shit." And was annoyed. But wow. this is good.
ifmemoryserves Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I generally groan at anything to do with this song, but this was good. I like Taylor though so.
Angela. Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 This was quite nice, actually. I enjoyed it, she did a good job.
WestboundSign! Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I'm not a fan of hers but this really wasn't a bad cover!
uhleckseee Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I have a lot of love for this girl. Her songs sometimes get really redundant, but she's built herself up to an amazing career. She's beautiful, she's real, she has a voice, and she knows how to rock it. That being said, I genuinely enjoy this cover of the song.
in_your_face Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 ^well said. nawwww she has been my favorite female artist for a long time. I just love her voice!! <3
Mar Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Day ruined. Yeah, it could have been worse. But it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I quite liked that. Not a brilliant cover, but it sounds nice Although the random bits of lyrics at the end were a bit weird.
Disapperingirl Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Uhm. Taylor Swift. Uhm....... Ok, it definetly sounds too sweet, but that's her voice...she did a pretty good cover, I have to admit, it's nice to hear her fans singing a GD song, a bit weird but in a good way
Stormy Haze Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I think this is very nice, it may not be the best cover, but it isn't bad. And I agree with Jaymee, it's very nice to hear such a different crowd singing along...
TheJesusOfSuburbiaIsALie Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Pretty good! I expected it to be very weird! lol
DoodleBob Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I actually enjoyed this video. Taylor Swift had a really, sweet and soft voice when she sang, it was cute It's a shame that the majority of the crowd only knew the lyrics, "It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life."
