Annie, get your gun Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 It's not a matter of so much laughter, now there will be lots of jokes about it and maybe it was funny, but what if Billie Joe was having a terrible day and after refusing to the first request (which it was -I think- impossible for him to do, his pants are already really small) he just burst in anger and pull his pants down completely? (no underwear included) I still think poor Billie, like he said, he just "wanted to get to his fucking seat"... it's incredible how annoying people can be in any kind of transport. Or what if you could, but only briefly while he was leaning over, or something? Either way, yeah, the flight attendant had the wrong attitude. Like, say he was dressed like this His trousers are low and saggy, but you can't see anything. jacket and shirt would be covering it all, and dark enough to blend in anyway. We live in such a celebrity-obsessed culture...so when something like this happens to a celeb that manages to keep a low profile on a regular basis, the media just latches onto it. *shrug* However, I still think that kicking someone off an airplane, whether they're a celeb or not, for such a trivial reason is ridiculous. When you're putting your luggage into an overhead bin, maybe bending over to put something in the seat in front of you, or just trying to deal with the crowded mess of boarding a plane, your hands are full, of COURSE his ass crack might have been showing. It's like they want everyone dressed completely appropriate for all occasions. 1984 shit, seriously. They keep saying how Billie Joe is "almost 50 or something" and he's "dressing like a teenager." Who the hell cares? If he made it through security, then what does it matter? Security is to SECURE the people getting on the plane, make sure that there are no dangers. If they didn't say anything then, why bother on the plane with PANTS? What threat is that? Not being able to get up in time if there's an emergency? Just because you wear such tight, short pants that you can't pull them up doesn't mean we should have to look at your crack. Billie, I love you, but I don't think she was asking to piss you off. Did she have other things to worry about? Maybe. Should she have thrown you off? Unless you got really mouthy, no. Still doesn't mean you can't respond to that simple request.
