Here is an article about it from the local news

http://abclocal.go.c...ment&id=8340307

Holy shit! His initial reply sounds reasonable enough so I can see why he got annoyed when they responded to that by threatening to have him removed from the plane. Sounds like there's some jobsworths working at that airline. Does it really matter how low someone's trousers are when they're gonna be sitting down in a seat?!

and okay, why hasn't anyone posted this yet? http://youtu.be/tMwhl4IrPNc

Sorry to Billie and whoever he was traveling with- i hope they got wherever they were going eventually. But for the rest of us, its kinda funny.

(also- related story, anyone ever read about the time Kevin Smith got kicked off a flight because he was too fat and didn't purchase two seats? He's not THAT fucking fat, jesus...)

JetBlue USED to be ok (last time i few was in 2004). I like the lil tv's on the back of each seat, and it was much comfier and much nicer than American...

Granted, NOBODY does inflight meals anymore... but do you know what a Vegetarian meal on American consists of? We got their "bistro bag" which is essentially a sandwich and some snacks- 1 SLICE WONDER BREAD, ONE SLICE TOMATO, ONE SLICE LETTUCE, ONE SLICE WONDERBREAD. WTF WHERE IS THE PROTEIN! Gawd, could i get some fucking tofu or some hummus or something. Djeez. Oh and it came with a pack of baby carrots. I'm glad i ate before i got on the plane...

I've seen people on planes with half their asses hanging out and flight attendants didn't say one word to them.

"The Bay Area rock musician was traveling from Oakland to Burbank when the incident occurred"

The fact that he traveled to Burbank reminded me back when 21st Century Breakdown was recorded in 2008 / 2009. Someone posted BJA traveled to Burbank as it's the closest airport to Oceanway Recording Studio were 21CB was recorded.

First, OMG NEW TWEET!!!! :shok:

And second, it must have been a BIG deal if he tweeted about it. Poor Billie, but it's funny, it made me giggle a little bit. These are the kind of things that only can happen to him... Leave the man and his <too low> pants alone! :fight:

when I read his tweet for the first time, I laught a little bit... sorry Billie! but now, I just think: what a stupid reason! it must really suck to get kicked out becasue of his pants.

but I can´t really imagine Billie as a drama queen with "Do you actually know who I am?" that´s definitely not his charakter. I mean I understand when he flips out, but getting better "deals" just because he´s successful? that doesn´t fit to him. =/ the airline is very stupid

thanks for posting the articles! I love Green Day for that too. because even if they are successful, they are still very down on earth :)

That is seriously funny for us at least! I have to say I find that whole 'jeans so low slung I look like I'm losing them' thing a bit stupid, but each to there own! Plus if they were worried he had something hidden upon his person it'd be such a chore to pat him down! ;) Oh dear I sound like such a fangirl slut!!

I'm a bit confused though. Billie was just in Newport beach. So he went back home, and now he's coming back again? For what? :ninja:

Anyways, I laughed sooooo hard. Omg

Think this is a story we'll be hearing about during some concert in the future? I bet!

Now THESE are the fun kind of scandals I like. Nothing that necessarily damages his reputation like a fight or drug bust, but something so fucking hilarious.

Wow  What a silly thing to get kicked off a plane for.

And doesn't Billie wear, ya know, skinny jeans like most of the time? I didn't think skinny jeans sagged that low, unless he got some baggy pants or something . . .

I loved the ABC news report about this, how they were all laughing at how ridiculous it was. Ah, I love Billie's tweets. I wish more crazy shit would happen to him so we could get more hilarious tweets.

In other news, has anybody else noticed that Billie Joe is following Michael Moore on twitter only it's not the film director Michael Moore, it's some other guy. I'm assuming this was not his intention.

I love how this has been all over the news lol. I didn't think it would get any attention

I did. You know how people make everything sound like a big deal. I'm actually glad there was more information on it though because I was curious about it. Being without power for 6 days you really fall behind on things
