whatserbmae
When or how much is Van in for? I'm wondering too. I read something on Twitter (which someone supposedly got from his FB) about him playing Johnny for 5 weeks in March/April. It would be so great if someone could confirm this. I'm peachy. I'm in New York for my birthday this weekend. Happy birthday!

I'm hoping he will do the SF shows which I plan on going to, but they are in June/July, so then probably not (if what I read about March/April is true)
plaid ducky
If Van's in the tour, he'll be in the entire run. They sign contracts for a certain amount of time usually a leg which is like 6 months or a little more.
alaniluau
These Van rumors are quite intriguing. I've never seen him in the role, and it would certainly be exciting to witness it for the first time on tour. Does anyone know what's going on with tickets for the San Francisco run? It says that they're only on sale as part of the 2011-2012 season, and the website it kind of vague. Also, I recently made the connection between Tony Taccone and Jorma Taccone from the Lonely Island. Only about two years behind on the uptake. Regional theatres have seasons, which means they have so mant productions during that time whether it's their own shows or touring shows or visiting theatre companies. Subscribers to a season, meaning they pay a set amount beforehand, are given priority to purchase tickets for the season before the general public thus the phrase "the 2011-2012 season is on sale." They'll announce closer to the production dates when individual tickets go on sale. For San Francisco, I would guess that would be around January. WestboundSign!
I hope costa mesa will be cheaper.. It HAS to be cheaper!! Otherwise my parents would kill me because the whole vacation is expensive enough. And being there while knowing the musical is there too, would be a bit nerve-wracking.. SophiaAndTheAve.
And being there while knowing the musical is there too, would be a bit nerve-wracking.. You're so lucky, you are in CA and you have the CHANCE to see it! I would die for seeing that musical

WestboundSign!
Yes, but when i was there, the musical wasn't. Okay, I comply.. But if everything comes the way it seems to come, I won't be able to see it too. But then I'll sit down in front of the theater and try to listen if I can hear anything.. lizziebix
Tickets in Chicago are ranging between $165 and $301. And there aren't many seats left for the full 2 week run. Doesn't look good for me to see it multiple times by buying tickets in advance. If they have lottery or day of tickets, maybe.
