On Ticketmaster, the dates are up, and enter IDIOT in the presale code when prompted. You should go on Friday!

Ahhhh I see thank you! And I'm busy that weekend, so Friday would be the day! My only issue is that although I'm only 90 minutes away, I won't have a car... because I can't have a car on campus. Hmmm. I bet a cab is expensive. I must figure this out.

I know it's not ideal, but Amtrak is about $60 round trip ... not including the hotel price. I wish I could help you out, but I'm nowhere near EL Maybe you can find someone to go with? plaid ducky
How are you darling Vi? I'm peachy. I'm in New York for my birthday this weekend.
plaid ducky
Oh yeah, I see that, but I assumed that the "BALC2" on my ticket meant that number 2 to the right of the center, which says it's seat 102, not 301. That's what's confusing me! BALC2 should refer to that part of the balcony not a section, specifically. So, BALC1 would refer to the lower part of the balcony. You should be in that pink middle section where 301 is.
Mar
BALC2 should refer to that part of the balcony not a section, specifically. So, BALC1 would refer to the lower part of the balcony. You should be in that pink middle section where 301 is. Well, that's confusing! Ticketmaster doesn't make that explicitly clear. I didn't quite realize there were different balcony levels. Undómiel
Why are theatre tickets so expensive, compared to gigs and the such like... I know there's more people but seriously. AI aside, I was looking at Broadway tickets a couple of weeks ago for when I go to New York and the prices were crazy!

plaid ducky
Depending on the show, you can also do rush, lotto or even the discount websites (Givenik.com, Broadwaybox.com, etc.) to get cheaper tickets. Rush and lotto range between $25 and $40. I find that the TKTS prices are still pricey.
