Yeah, I doubt we will hear a lot either, let alone see anything.

Oh well, I'm more than happy we have the full show Green Day played after the show!

I cracked up when Billie did his "German" part of Longview   He doesn't even sound like himself.

I'm sure it wasn't as crazy as other Foxies shows anyway. It must've been loads of fun for sure but without an audience made up of big/crazy fans of the Tubs it wouldn't be the same.

so. world tour. if so, can they please bring the show here? We love Green Day stuff even if it's in another language different from ours! It wouldn't be a world tour if it didn't include almost the whole world. /stopwhining

anyhow WORLD TOUR, woop! :banana::dance:

And, after seeing the videos, I think if we ever throw a party, we NEED to invite Libby Winters, because she's beyond awesome

I don't know...I doubt he would of said "we're taking it to England" if they weren't taking it to England. If they were just hoping to, I'm sure they would of just said that, as that would have still raised all the excitement, without promising anything.

I'm sure it come to the UK, just after a while. Probably late next year maybe.

I just don't want people to gets their hopes up.

Musical productions don't do world tours, exactly. What is the normal practice for productions outside of the US is that whatever country it is planned to be in that they'll have their own production of the show, usually using local actors & actresses. So, the same cast won't be going to, say, London, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, etc. but each place would have their own cast and have the ability to have more than one production at once.

Just saying how things are usually done.

I am not sure if someone said this or not yet. I don't feel like going through all the pages right now but, no they did not play 2000 Light Years Away.

The full set list was:

1) Only of You

2) Murder City

3) Holiday

4) Burnout

5) Letterbomb (John Gallager Jr request)

6) Welcome to Paradise

7) Longview

8) Walking Out On Love

9) Jesus of Suburbia

Oh and also someone was in the first or second row with a pro video camera. So who knows if that footage will be released or not.

What am awesome setlist!! Only of You and Letterbomb <3

I bet that was such a treat for everyone there.

That's what I'm afraid of... Usually when musicals come here, they are produced and done in Portuguese, and it is just HORRIBLE! (I saw West Side Story and it was so so so so bad!)

But there are musicals who come tour over here, with the original production... With different actors I'm pretty sure, but they are not Portuguese, at least UGH.

If the musical will play here and it'll be translated... oh god. I would go see it because well, can't not go see it, but it's going to be one giant cringe-fest.

It better get to London so I can at least see it in English...

I didnt even think of that. That'd be really awkward since I'm so used to hearing them say their lines in English. Besides, some jokes wouldn't make a lot of sense anymore if you translate them.

Yeah! Well, if it gets to England it won't be any time soon...

Soooo

I will be done with the Uni, luckily working, with my own money, in my 20's.. Oh yeah, I like the sound of that

I'm not sure if I would go to see a Portuguese version of it, I would have nightmares for the rest of my life :pinch:

Just from thinking about it

So in 1 Day Billie did 2 American Idiot shows, a green day set and a foxboro hot tubs show. Where the fuck does he get the energy??

Yeah but the Foxboro Show is only for cast and friends. =/

It feels kind of weird that last night there was a Tubbie show and besides a handful of photos, there is no footage of it whatsoever! No pictures, no videos, no stories from people who went, nothing!

:(

I really hope they won't translate the AI musical! =/

I have no clue. It always amazes me that he seems to be always full of energy, yesterday is a great example of that.

The best part of them playing was Billie kept doing stuff to make Mike and Tre laugh. every time he'd do something stupid or silly, he'd look over at Mike, who was always cracking up. I think someone mentioned the german accent (which was pretty much Russian), and he changed the lyrics to one of the songs (can't remember which one) to "because now I'm a playwright".

<3

"My mother says to get a job, but I'm a fucking play writer, bitch."

Had such an amazing night tonight. The show itself was amazing, Billie Joe was brilliant as St. Jimmy. The show afterward was also brilliant.

<3

Thanks for this review! :) So glad you and all the other from the team had a great time out there!

I'm expecting a podcast right now btw...

Videos have surfaced while I was sleeping...I'm torn between working on hw or watching videos. =/ AND world tour announced?!! :runaround::dance:

For anyone who read my post from yesterday on GDA, I had at least 6 people tell me they wanted to bring me a burrito. It absolutely made my night. I was also put over the top when Kevin Preston 1) remembered me 2) told me he laughed at my post on GDA.

Andres! Thank you for all the work you do here. Honestly. I get all my GD news from GDA and GDC, and the best part is, the news is TRUE. I trust you guys so much in bringing real, honest news and don't need to worry about something being made up. You guys are remarkable, and thanks for taking the time to write up a review after such an eventful night! I know my mind wouldn't be working right!

Oh since I wasn't in NY and wasn't able to bring you a burrito in person, here's to make up for it:

I hope you like chicken :D

Man, what an amazing weekend. I would post more, but I'm sooo fucking tired. I got home at 4, didn't sleep till 5, then the neighbor's fucking dog was outside barking at 10 so I'm like dead to the world. I'm trying to get my pics up on Facebook though.

When we got the Bowerly Electric, it was closed. Then someone later came out and said this was private, no one except who's on the guest list could come in. BUT Kevin Preston had told us when we met him we could go. It was weird. BUT if it was intimiate like that, we would have been out of place.

And you didn't take Kevin up on his offer? They considered you family! C'est la vie, I guess!
