lizziebix
I have a spare Mezz center section ticket for tonight if anyone's interested - face value... If only I wasn't in Chicago. If only it wasn't Easter and the family's getting together. If only, I had a spare $500 for last minute airfare. If only...

QuiteCrazy
There are no words for how much I want to be there or how sad it makes me that it's ending... although if it's ending it means it's one step closer to going on tour... but still... very sad indeed, especially with the huge emotional investment I've put into it for some reason. I wish I had $90 to buy tickets and to take the bus down for another day trip. It's so close but yet so far away so, I'm just sitting here, looking at pictures at the original Broadway cast and I just started crying. no big deal... damn, I'ma miss this musical so fucking much. I can second that. The crying and everything, I was doing that yesterday and had to stop after a while

You'll get to see a kickarse show in Chicago when it tours! In the mean time - i'll think of you while bawling my eyes out to Good Riddance... I nearly lost it last night watching Rebecca tear up. and Justin was well there too. OMG - is this my life?

Marki.
This is going to be such a sappy post, just skip over or something... I'm actually surprised how sad I get when I think about the musical ending. I haven't followed the show that much, I haven't even watched many videos... But the few pictures and clips that I have seen made me love it and people's stories made me feel like I actually experienced it. I obviously didn't have a chance to see it and maybe that is why I'm sad about it closing now, but I'm also sad because this has been such a journey for Green Day and the cast and everyone involved... When I think back to the days when I first watched the awesome cast version of 21 Guns recorded in the studio, when they performed at the Grammys or when Billie first revealed When It's Time I get all nostalgic. It doesn't feel like it's been a year now, but when you think back to all these things connected you realize it's gone such a long way from the first previews. The fact that I haven't even seen it and I'm now sitting here writing this, getting all teary eyed, really shows how intense this show is. I can't imagine what it must mean to the people who saw it multiple times. It's kind of like an end of an era... and a very, very awesome one in this case. It'll be greatly missed but as I've already said somewhere else - for every ending there's always a new beginning of something great. And I can't wait to see (hear ) what's next.
