I finished it in one night, I want to undo that I read it and re-read it again fresh and excited, it really is a wonderful read and an insight to the band we very rarely see :)

Yes, I know I'm going to feel that way when I finish it - that's one reason why I'm delaying until the perfect moment.

There's nothing worse than really enjoying a book and seeing the remaining pages diminishing rapidly. Happened to me lots, especially with The Firm and Nobody Likes You. Not wanting to put it down but not wanting it to end, quite ironic really!

Exactly! Ironic and frustrating!!!

My Cometbus is here . Many thanks to Anja! I'm ridiculously excited to read it, gonna make myself read it really slowly and savour it.

No problem. Btw, I just gave you your 500 rep :D

That's what I've been doing, too. I have one chapter left, and I don't want it to end. Plus, I've been really tired every night this week (from long days at work and then coming home to ship out more Cometbus :)). I don't want to read the last of it while I'm exhausted. I want to take in every word and relish it.

i shoved it up my nose and into my brain in one sitting. i definately snort-read it.

I finished nobody likes you in 2 days....I'll probably finish this in like 1 day...I'm really bad with books as soon as I start to read on I can't put it down...So if it has to do with Green Day I don't see my self putting it down after I crack it open.

How long is the book?

I hope mine arrives before Saturday. Won't be able to go to my room (i.e. my computer) then, so I'll have plenty of time to read and enjoy it then

Mine arrived today and I read it in about 90 minutes flat.

It's about as close to a perfect Green Day biography as we're going to get.

I read mine in, I think, 3 sittings to/from college. That's always how I end up reading his zines. On the bus

Yus, that was me! :D

I think #54 has completely rekindled my love for his work. I had forgotten about his zines up until now and reading this one has really encouraged me to go back and read the other 3 that I have.

If anyone lives in the Chicago area, AARON COMETBUS will be doing a reading at the Chicago Zine Fest on Friday March 25th from 2-4pm Conaway Center Columbia College 1104 S. Wabash Ave.

He will be reading with Al Burian of Burn Collector/Natural Disasters.
