so... who's going to which shows?

I've decided I'm doing the shows on the 18th, 19th and 20th (the Gilman and SF shows)

I need to start looking at hotels...

anyone wanna possibly share a room?

aaaaaand. do you need a car to get from the east bay to SF or is there good public transport? I'm assuming the BART does that... I'm just hoping it runs late.

Is it so wrong that I can't make out any of it apart from the ARRR ABANDON SHIP bit ?

I'll be there from the 18th-23th, but I'm staying with friends.

The BART shuts down at midnight, which is a pain in the ass.

I don't think there is a BART station near Gilman, but I've always driven there, I think it's a bit aways.

it's easy to get the BART back and forth between the Bay and SF, just a pain in the ass at night.

the bart is a good trek from gilman. I`m astonished I actually made it there knowing my sense of direction! by the time I left again it has shut down for the night so that can really bugger your evening up if you are relying on the bart.

It's so nice that Mike has a little side project too, like BJ has St Billie and Tre has...

Hang on, what does Tre have?

ANYWAY. I wish Mike much luck with these shows, I like the musical direction he's heading in with The Frustrators.

The Frustrators two existing albums/EPs came out in 2000 and 2002 so we don't really know which musical direction they're heading until we hear the new one :D. Be interesting to hear how similar or different it is.

I've been looking for roommates as well for the trip, so I'd be in! We can wander hopefully through public transportation together.

Yea, I'm probably going to the 20th and maybe 19th. We'll see. Yea, I'm pretty sure that the bart does. I might be able to give rides, we'll see if my friend's driving or me.. I'll see what my mom says n stuff.

I'm doing the 27th show and MAYBE, if my mom says yes, were doing gilman as well.

sounds good. though I'm still tossing up a few options so I can't say 100% yet what I'm doing or what I'm booking =/

if you could, that would be beyond amazing. I'm paranoid about not being able to get back to where I'm staying after the shows...

and I'll shower you with Tim Tams (legendary aussie chocolate biscuits - they're like currancy here)

Bart website Bart runs until midnight but the station nearest to Gilman is North Berkeley which is about a mile and a half way so you would need to be leaving before the last band. I dont think I left there until about 1am or so.

google map with directions hopefully that will work so you can see how far it is to work. getting there isnt to bad, if you can get a lift afterwards you will be way better off.

damn, directions arent on it. sure you guys can do that bit though.

I just got my ticket to the Bottom of the Hill!

From Bobby Joe Ebola: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=192745770736724&ref=mf

----

THE FRUSTRATORS. BOBBY JOE EBOLA AND THE CHILDREN MACNUGGITS. Two names which live in infamy in the anals - ahem, annals, of East Bay music history. Both reborn after 8 years of cryogenic hibernation. Both with new releases; Bobby Joe Ebola, with their new album, "F", and the Frustrators, with their "Griller" EP.

In February 2011, both bands will rub the carbonite from their eyes and roar down the endless road on a week of tour all over California. Bobby Joe Ebola and the Children MacNuggits will be the MC's for each show, bringing Dan and Corbett's special blend of acoustic mayhem to audiences all over the Golden State! And of course The Frustrators (Art, Terry, Jason, Stanley the Chicken and that other guy with a day job playing bass in Green Day) will bring their self-deprecating goofball punk rock to a world that's waited long enough, dammit!

Check below for show details, and keep checking back as the tour goes on! See you on the road!
