Nmd
Damn, you guys are gonna be living the luxury life in New York --- When I go this time, I don't have the money to stay anywhere overnight, haha. I'm going to be leaving home around 11:00 PM the night before the show, getting in NYC via train at 12:00 PM the day of the show, watching the evening show, staying the entire night after the show without a hotel, ((Just going to wander around NYC in the warmest areas I can find and sample lots of cheap food, haha,)) And then getting back on the train around 7:00 AM. Hotel? Who needs a hotel? Sleep? Never heard of it. It's fucking NYC, baby! haha that plan is awesome, and in NYC, pretty sure the time won't drag aahhhhhhh is it Feb yet???? We are currently 3 people who are sharing a hotel (might be the St James which is at Times Square) so yeah, maybe we could get a room for the 4 of us then and share costs
Fanny.
Stil working on my trip here. Been saving since December. LOL. Does anyone know how much it is to stay at a decent hotel in NYC? When I went to NYC last week, we stayed at the Edison Hotel and it was 139$ per night for a room with two beds. The hotel is located on the 47th, right next to Time Square. The St James is on the 44th and there's like a passage through the buildings from the 44th to the 47th, it begins right next where the Memphis musical is, so you’re really close to the theater

Anja
noo! would sleep on the floor if i had to (but i'm willing to pay the extra for a bed ) on the floor? No way! We will pay the extra $100, don't worry. I had the idea of just smuggling you in (I've done that many times) and that way we wouldnt have to pay the extra money. I doubt anyone will notice as most hotels are very busy and packed. I don't know. Mela said it's too risky.

And the staff seems to treat you better than at the more expensive and less shabby Hotel Mela!
