vla313
They were still using the December playbills this past weekend; I'm guessing the January ones will have Billie properly in it. And ugh, while I would love Billie's autograph, I can't deal with the barricade; I almost got crushed in one when Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp came back to Rent back in 2008, so never again if they stay crazy. Amusing story, I was helping friends with the matinee lotto on Sunday, and we were around the Jujamcyn door, and I suddenly saw people running at me, turned around, and Billie was RIGHT THERE, trying to get into the theater quickly....and my first reaction was to run away from getting trampled. lol. Oh well.
debunked
My friends video but I was standing right next to her. At 10 seconds Billie signs my picture! I just want to hug him for having to deal with all of that. Hearing people scream his name, ask questions, etc. Am I the only one who kept hearing a dude (or dudes) scream out "Billie JEAN"? Cause that was overly annoying. Congrats on being able to go/meeting him/etc. Lucky! <

Karen.
OMG Karen I'm a lady?! Dat be old in the states. I'm just kidding. Those were the best seats ever and wouldn't trade that experience for anything. Have a great time! Yvette I'm sorry! I guess I was trying to distinguish between you and the young girl beside you! Agreed - best seats ever! Thanks! what do you mean by 'got on'? As in were you successful in your quest for an autograph? I remember you saying that you were gong to try for one. Opezi
okkay so if I were to go see it sometime in February and I was wanting to meet him or something, is there any way? Do you have to be early, or wait after the show?

The bloke shouting "Please Billie, I love you!" made me lol Me too! I actually watched the video a few times just because that guy made me laugh. I really appreciate how well he handles it. It almost seems as if he was in his own little headspace though, lol. The way it took him a moment to respond to the question.
Robin105
Lmao all the Billie, Billie, Billie was driving me crazy. I only said his name when he came over to me. The rest of the time I took pics and stared at him and getting a good look at him. I only screamed when he came out and was calm the rest of the time

Tripe
Eeek, that video made me shudder. I can't imagine having to deal with that all the time; that must be so annoying to have what seems like a million random people saying your name in a whiny voice. He seemed quite tired, I agree...but also robot-like, just signing whatever piece of paper was thrust in front of him without even thinking about it. Just going through the motions to get it over with, probably. It's nice that he agreed to go whole haul with the publicity to help support the musical, though. I admire him for putting himself through that shit and stagedooring for a few minutes.

*withoutadoubt*
Tony was still in the Playbill, although they had the slips saying Billie Joe was playing St. Jimmy instead of Tony. They didn't do that the last time Billie Joe was on broadway in Sept./Oct. if I recall. I was thinking the same thing - I looked for the little slip of paper the last run BJ did, and they didn't put it in the Playbill. I'm glad they did it this time. Still no word on who's playing St. Jimmy after Billie Joe?
plaid ducky
Still no word on who's playing St. Jimmy after Billie Joe? As in after February 27th? It's still a bit early. Andrew Call will be on for St. Jimmy from January 11th to the 16th. He doesn't know yet about Billie's February break, but I'm hoping for a little PuppyDog!Jimmy. Seriously, though. I call Chase "PuppyDog!Jimmy" out of pure love. Also, I wasn't the one who coined the nickname. LOL.

Just going through the motions to get it over with, probably. Noticed this as well. Also how it took him five seconds to react to the girl filming asking him to say hi to her sister. He didn't ignore him, but it seemed as if it took a couple second to get through and process.
luvgirlcl
Ahh he's great, he handles it so well and doesn't look phased at all. The bloke shouting "Please Billie, I love you!" made me lol That must have been the second best thing about the video (with BJ being his awesome self coming first) I couldn't help thinking 'damn, that's awkward, edging on uncomfortable'
Katarina.
All the Billie bIlLIIEEE BILLIEEE is crazy! He handles it well though, and it's great he keeps going out to sign stuff. I can totally imagine that he's exhausted from the show, so he's kind of like in a mood where he's in his own world, signing whatever he sees, wanting it to be over. I don't know if I want to be going there asking him to sign something. I prefer going to a Green Day show and standing in front of the stage, haha. Too bad there's no way I can see the musical. With or without St. Billie. He's so great though, from what I've seen in videos!
dria021772
So how early should we be at the theater for the 3pm Sunday show? I mean just for the actual show, I am too damn old to be chasing down autographs and standing for hours in the cold...I know I'm Lame

I mean just for the actual show, I am too damn old to be chasing down autographs and standing for hours in the cold...I know I'm Lame You don't have to stand in line to enter the theater. I kinda find it funny that people stand in line when they all have assigned seats. If you wanted to, you could head in a minute before the curtain goes up. But, I'm sure you'd want to look around, maybe grab a drink, go to the bathroom, find your seats. I usually go in about 10 minutes before curtain.
