To anyone who saw Saint Billie before or met him that time:

Does he come out the Stage door or the glass door that John comes out of? And does he go around to everybody or only the first few people?

The times I've seen him exit after being St. Jimmy, he's exited through the regular stage door. I've never been over there by the barricades but he doesn't seem to get to everyone before he's pushed into the car. I think he reserves the other stage door for the cast to leave if they don't wanna deal with the madness.

My cousin and his wife are going to NYC next year, but I don't know when, they told my mum I could go with them, if I wanted...

But, I'm pretty sure they won't go in January or February. If they go, I might have an heart attack or something. I wouldn't miss the opportunity!

Okay, so I'm at the stage now where my Mom is actually talking about buying tickets! :runaround:

It's so shit because my friend is going to be in NYC at the same time as us and she wants to go and see the musical, even though she's not a particularly big Green Day fan at all. And she's going to buy tickets for her and her boyfriend but he doesn't even want to go. It's just annoying bcause there are so many other people out there who want to see it and who can't afford/aren't allowed to travel over :(

Lucky.

My Mom is at the "You want to fly clear across the continent to New York to see a musical with tons of swearing, drugs, and sex? Do I even need to give you an answer?" stage. My parents are so straight laced, it's both funny and a royal pain in the ass.

But I'm happy for everyone who gets to go!! It will be amazing

Exactly one more month for me! I'm already thinking of what I want to wear, what I want to say if I actually meet any of the cast or Billie, all sorts of random things.

If you wanna try and get Billie's autograph, stand by the barricades. However, people who didn't see the musical would already line up before the show ended so it might be difficult. However, you're going to the matinee, right? So, there's a possibility that Billie will just stay inside between the shows. :(

I just posted menus for the 2 restaurants discussed in your 1/29 thread. Let's discuss there about where we're all going to meet. Absolutely want you to be a part of the meet up!

It's not impossible! I saw a matinee of one of Billie's shows in October and he stagedoored and came back to the St. James a couple hours later. Granted, when he came out it was a total madhouse around the theater, but we were able to catch him as he was going back in about 2 hours later. We almost missed him, he went in so quickly and I don't think everyone even noticed

Heh... what you can try to do is stall. See the show, stagedoor afterwards, head over to "Shake Shack" for a burger or shake (you might run into some Idiots over there), and casually walk by the theatre on your way home. My friends and I don't usually go to the matinee but we talk to the crew and cast after the show and then head to get food before doing lottery for the evening. And pretty much by the time we get back is when the cast is returning from dinner.

Just tell your mom that everyone raves about "Shake Shack" and you just gotta try it.

I've had so many people tell me to go to Shake Shack

What time do they usually return from dinner? :o and do they eat in restaurants around the theatre?

Heh... yeah. I remember one of the first times I went to that location when it just opened. It was after a matinee. I got inside and there was Stark and Esper at the front of the line, Theo, Gerard & Brian about midway down the line, and Wallace at the end of the line, in front of me. LOL. With the exception of Esper, who I talked to after the show, everyone didn't stagedoor but went to get food. I thought it was kinda funny. :D

Anyways, re: what time they return... it depends on the cast member. But they all have to be back at the theatre for warm-ups an hour before the show. Plus the understudies have rehearsal between the matinee and the evening. The regular ones do stagedoor for the matinee and then go off for dinner and come back usually during the lottery period of the evening show (so for your show... they'll get back between 5 and 6). They generally go to the places nearby. The deli down the street on 44th is popular. I've ran into Esper and Rebecca over there. A couple of places on 9th Avenue, including the diner that Johnny's often seen at. There's a food court on 8th... They usually travel in groups. :)

Andrew was so excited one time when he came back and told us at the glass door that Burger King had a two-for-one sale on chicken sandwiches.
