How do you guys have money for all of it?

we work hard.

I personally have 2 jobs, and my average day is 15 hours of work and 5 hours of sleep. The rest is spent traveling to/from work or waking up/going to sleep.

I pride myself VERY much on being able to pay to do things on my own. I've been to Europe twice (including 4 shows during the tour this summer), and I paid for the trip (plus spending money/hotels/etc etc) completely by myself without any aid.

I work to travel. I travel to experience Green Day (and friends). There's not really much more I need in life really :) I'm sure the exact same thing can be said for Aska, Sarah and Liz; they are 3 of the most dedicated people I know.

Besides, getting to NYC from Ottawa is pretty cheap in comparison to what other people are paying

lol you think you have much to complain about? You live closer to Toronto, try Ottawa.

When you guys have a high of -15C we're up here with a high of -25C

That's true, m'chilly friend, that's very true.

But when it comes to cold conditions like ours, everything from -15C down to about -35C feels nearly identical.

 I know! I was all "The weather's so great, we have to go out and do everything we need to do today because it's snowing tomorrow"

Geez, I'm the opposite --- I'm doing all my outdoor activities tomorrow!

That was beautiful  I'm inspired to do that when I get older!

On a side note, I just bought my plane tickets to NYC! It's finally beginning to feel a bit real, although I still can't fully believe it yet. :runaround: I can't wait to go! This time my mom and sister are coming with me to NY  I'm still trying to get my mom to see the show with St. Billie but she doesn't want me to spend anymore money on this haha...I already spent almost a half a year's worth of my work money (not counting college tuition) and I haven't even booked a hotel room yet. :ninja:

I read in the new York times that billie joe bought a new house on the lower east side so that he could he closer to his 'baby' (aka the musical) and because it would be easier as his family likes it there too... Which sounds like it's permanent. I don't know why but his really, /REALLY/ bugs me :/

I would imagine that the family already has a permanent residence set up in NYC from years before.

I've been all work and no play for the last few weeks, and next month yet to pull off going to at least one performance a week every time he's there.

I'm going January 6th, 9th, 20th, and 27th. And February 10th, 17th, 24th, and 27th.

I was freaking out because Telecharge hadn't sent me my tickets. When I rang up they were like, "oh, we put a hold on this because we thought it was a duplicate order"...I'm like, "eh no, I just want to go 3 times!"

That's part of the reason I was freaking - was afraid they gave my front row seats to someone else! I'll definitely be checking them when they come in.
