Ok.. So I just went to look at my school programme. and I will have a week in February that's kind of free... I shouldn't get to excited about it... But I am really thinking about doing this, if someone from here goes with me. :woot: I don't really have any money. But I don't think that's a problem. I can always go rob a bank or something  jk

This doesn't surprise me at all. I fully expected that he'd return to the St. Jimmy (Billie) role, he clearly loved the experience the first time around. I'll never get the chance to see it but with Billie in it I'll be more interested in updates from the shows

I think Rossstar needs a kick in the ass about this. His facebook post was just ridiculous.

Oh my God! :woot: I have GOT to go to this! I am going to beg my Mom until she can't stand it anymore because I will not miss this opportunity again!

Omg, I'm torn between being really excited about this :woot: :woot: :dance::D :D :woot:

and rolling up in a ball and go cry in a corner because there's no way I can go

Also, my Winter Break ends Jan. 2nd, and the holiday after that starts February 19th. Fucking grand.

...wait.... Feb 19th? Then I *might might might might* be able to go. Technically, there's no way I'll be allowed, nor do I have the money. Omg this is even more frustrating.

and the crying in a corner part of me won. :(

It's so fucking annoying how every time I make peace with myself that I'll never see the musical, things happen that want me to go even more or things happen that make it a tiny bit more possible that I could go (but still pretty impossible).

This thing is so great, I shouldn't be sad that I can't go. Just be happy that other people can see it and maybe a good/more recordings will show up.

:(

I KNEW this was gonna happen RIGHT after I travelled all the way to New York and saw it this month! :pinch:

I wonder if maybe my Dad'll be up for another trip to New York ... I'm like 95% sure he won't be, but y'never know. He's just as much a Billie fangirl as I am sometimes!

So, my mom said she'll have to think about it, but we're probably going.

Do you guys think tickets will sell out fast? Because if I order them I'll do it either tomorrow or later. :/

Crap...I wish I could go....but there's no way that my parents will want to go on vacation to New York in February, and I don't have anyone else to go with, plus, I don't really think I have the money for the plane tickets, the hotel and the show tickets....*facepalm*

I'd love if the musical comes to London and he does shows here too :D

One can hope...

That's what I'm hoping for! Who knows at this rate I'm surprised he's even doing it again so soon! Maybe there's hope for us londoners

Ahw there's no way I can actually go, I just realized. Tickets will be selling out really fast, and I can't do everything needed for a journey to New York (finding someone to go with, getting permission from my parents (impossible), finding money (Pretty sure the €1000 I have saved up is be enough and I don't have a job), finding an accommodation etc) within a week or two. And even if I could do all of that, my parents would never let me go there.

I want to see the musical so badly. And awesomely, my vacation starting Feb 19th was probably my only safe bet (well actually, only chance, as otherwise I'd have to see it on what will probably be the closing day, which would only work out if nothing goes wrong or gets delayed with flights and everything else) on ever getting to see the musical at all, and now there's this as well and I can't possibly go :(

Ah well. I hope lots of GDCers can go and have the greatest fun. The musical seems absolutely amazing and seeing it with Billie in it... awesome :woot:

Aww....but look on the upside (which is what I've been doing): think of the great times that will happen here during the performances, like a repetition of the concert threads :D

oh dear. what did he say?

Dear Billie Joe: Do you really need to perform 50 more times in the AI musical? How about you make a new record, play some small shows, release new music from PHGP/FBHT/The Network?

I responded with:

Dear DJ Rossstar: Let Billie Joe have his fun. If he wants to be in the musical, let him be in the musical. He clearly enjoys it. There's plenty of time for new music and small shows.

And got this in return:

No there isn't. He is almost 40! Soon the songs will all be slow, acoustic tours, less touring, etc!

I argued a bit more. He said nothing else.

I knew it was gonna happen even before it was announced. :pinch: But the worst bit is that I've missed Billie TWICE now, argh! Once just BEFORE I went and now once just AFTER I went!

And it figures the one day I actually want my Dad hanging around the house so I can talk to him straight away, he's out the whole day.

Oh, and lawl, I've never liked DJ Rossstar. Never mentioned it before, though, because there's loads of people on here that jizz in their pants the instant his name's mentioned, but I'm gonna be honest now: I've always thought him to be a pompous self centred prick. And one who seems to enjoy rubbing the fact he attends thousands of Green Day shows and related events in the faces of other fans every chance he gets, at that. Bloody braggart.
