dria021772
Yay originals!! Much love 2 all gd fans, but glad 2 know there are other "seasoned" fans posting here. As one seasoned fan to another glad to see your posts too! I have to say though it was really sweet when I was at the bus stop waiting for my 4th grader to get home from school when these middle school kids saw my car and went ape shit over my lisence plate and all the GD stickers. They told me I was the coolest Mom ever!
Hermione
A lot more shows than anywhere else, magazines, contests, Tubbies show, in general by far the most likely to get cool other stuff if it's not in the US. I would love it if the musical came to London. With Billie would be really really great, but without Billie it'd make my year at least as well. Oh I know we're lucky , but it's nowhere NEAR the level of New York or California that's all I'm saying. We do get loads of shows but that Tubbies show was an exception, there hasn't been any other "special" stuff. Definitely not complaining though haha, I know we have it good and I wouldn't expect any more.
NoVaCaInE!
Are there many people actually going at the end of January now? It seems like everyone's going at the end of Feb, and I wont be there
Tripe
Does anyone know how the Mezz partial view seats compare to the Orchestra partial view seats? Sorry, Tony - I don't. I have never done the partial view seats. I know Tanya has a couple of times, hit her up on FB.

Tripe
So I just booked a flight yesterday to surprise my daughter (Laurel) and take her to NYC for her 16th birthday. We live near Berkeley, CA, and we saw the show 4 times when it was here, including the very first night and the very last night. So I thought it would be great to see Billie Joe in the show on Broadway when we're there. BUT we're going when he's on a break, the first weekend in February! I'm soooo disappointed!!!!! Is anyone else going between Feb. 4-Feb. 6? Also, are there IC tickets? If so, how do you get them? So sorry to hear about that timing! When I saw he was taking a few breaks in his run, I was afraid there would be some people who already had tickets that would miss his appearances. You guys will of course enjoy the musical, anyway! You will find a lot of changes from its run in Berkeley, things are more polished and bigger in many ways. It's all good. The IC has tickets for four front row seats (formerly lotto seats) for each show up to early February right now. Not sure if the rest of the dates will come up later or not. The seats are roughly $127 each before fees. You have to sign on to the IC and use the link there on the News page (it's several entries back) to get to the Telecharge site. If the seats are available for purchase, they show up when you select "Best Available" seating. Otherwise, it shows you the best available seating same that is available to the general public. Hope that helps!

They told me I was the coolest Mom ever! I aspire to be that cool GD mom, no kids yet (tho plenty old enough to have em). When I saw GD in Dallas this summer, I was in line with one such cool mom & her 13 year old daughter who had also just taken her 2 c them in Dublin!! I dubbed her coolest mom I'd ever met. Shout out 2 Michelle & Tori wherever u r! As one seasoned fan to another glad to see your posts too! pasalaska
Are there many people actually going at the end of January now? It seems like everyone's going at the end of Feb, and I wont be there it does seem like a fair number of people changed their plans to go to the last week of Feb instead of any other times, especially people who were contemplating doing the interview. It's heaps cheaper to fly in late Feb rather than around new year too

Isabel
Darren, we have loads of perks for travelling in January * Because tourism drops off after the Christmas holidays, this is a great time to find bargain accommodations and flights to New York City * its easier to get tickets to Broadway Shows because there are less visitors * January is also a great time to take advantage of the great post-holiday sales at New York City stores * dine at some of New York City's best restaurants at a great discount during New York City Restaurant Week
