who all is going on the 27th for the last show? :D

I want to so badly. Not happening I think.

So I had this short conversation with my mother, it went like:

"So.. mom, do you know any good sites to buy plane tickets to New York?"

"Why would you need that? Ah, I know what this is about, it could only mean one thing.. Green Day."

"Well I can be positive, right? Nevermind."

I'm not going to give up yet. But the chance of going is getting smaller the more I think about it. Yay for living in the Netherlands.

I really hope the 27th of February doesn't sell out soon, I NEED to go to that performance.

Nice, dude!

And you were asking me about Hotel Carter earlier --- The scoop on that dump is that it's cited/voted/described as the dirtiest/worst hotel in ALL OF THE UNITED STATES. =/ Not even kidding, just do a Google search for 'worst hotel in America', along with a couple searches for 'Hotel Carter reviews', and you'll see what I mean.

Glad you're looking at different places to stay, whew!

I can't believe it! I bought my tickets earlier today.. center orchestra row AA :woot: :woot: This is so surreal, I'll probably wake up soon and realize this is only a dream lol. But will I have trouble to see well because if the stage is really high, well I won't be able to see a lot of whats happening..

If some of you guys are still looking for cheap hotels, I found some really not expensive ones considering their locations. There's the Park Central Hotel near Central Park and the Edison Hotel near Time Square and Broadway!

I'M GOING :D

I love my mom. we live a couple hours by train away from NYC and she's taking me twice, once on Feb 20 (ROW FUCKING A!!! I'm still in shock) and once on the 27th (row F). it kinda helps that the 27th is her birthday weekend and she really wants to see it too  but oh. my. god. I CAN'T WAIT :bunny::runaround::banana:

Most of the the GDA team is going on the 26th, with a few going on the final show the 27th. I decided I'm only going to one show this time around. As cool as it might be to see the finale, I also want to be able to spend some time wandering around New York aimlessly, which I didn't get to do last time I was there in April.

I think....the Milford Plaza closed last year. If not, it's in a great location in relation to the St. James - across the street, same block. But I am pretty sure it closed for renovations or ran out of money or something like that.

The stage isn't too high - you'll be able to see it all without any problem. And probably get some random spit and sweat flung on you as well.

I still don't know if I'm going yet. My friend doesn't know if she has the money to go. I'm hoping to know soon!

It's pretty sure that I'm going to New York on the last weekend. But my dad doesn't want to buy my ticket yet because he thinks he can somehow get them cheaper. Is that a good idea, I'm so fucking scared that i won't get a ticket...

I think tickets for that final evening show will be hard to come by for a cheaper rate and in fact might get close to selling out altogether. You might be able to score some discounted tickets for another day or time that weekend, though. There is nothing advertised discounted right now, but perhaps there will be a promotion of some type closer to the date. You can always try lotto on that same day (assuming they are offering it), but if you don't get your name drawn to buy the discounted seat, you would be out of luck altogether.

If you're just getting a single ticket, your chances are probably better waiting than if you were trying to get two....still, if I were you, I would purchase sooner rather than later for that final weekend and definitely if you are trying to go the evening of the 27th.

I liked mezz quite a bit because you could see so much of the stage. But i've never sat in orchestra, so ... not really sure.
