Tripe
I love how people all over the place are dropping everything to go to NY for this. It makes me feel less insane for doing it too. I already asked, but again could anyone recommend a good/cheap hotel to stay for this? Not tooo far away? Do you mean, not too far away from the St. James? Or not too far away from getting into the city? Like someone mentioned, hotels are much cheaper outside of Manhattan (and yet often on the subway line, so it's reasonably easy to get into town). Rates change so much there, it's insane. I stayed in a place in April that was $99 per night and then when I wanted to stay there in June, the price had shot up to nearly $300 for the same room! One good thing about January/February is that these are not typically high tourism months there, so hotel prices should be relatively reasonable. Check around as the dates get closer; use Priceline or Travelocity and see what you can find! I think I have stayed in a different place and a different area of town every time I have gone there recently. It's an adventure!

I already asked, but again could anyone recommend a good/cheap hotel to stay for this? Not tooo far away? We are staying at the Comfort Inn. If you sign up for choice privileges (its free), its $110 a night, about 3 blocks away (about a 6 min walk). Here is the link for the hotel and here is where you sign up for membership. E!!i
Plus, witness the idiots at the talkbacks who wasted valuable Q & A time with inanities like "Billie Joe, can we get a hug?" Eeeeek, hurt me. I think this is an important question Kudos, Michael. And did you know I will be sitting next to you for that Sunday show? Good to know you won't be screaming "I love you Billie!" or singing really obnoxiously to LNOE next to me. and pity I can't sit next to those theater snobs I would sing so loud and scream I wanna fuck you Billie Joe that you couldn't hear anything anymore jk
Guest x-Green Day-x
I'd have no chance to go see this, unfortunately.. xD I live in Australia, and I know for a fact my mum won't let her 14 year old daughter roam around NYC by herself. I don't even think it's legal for 14 year olds travel overseas by themselves LOL, although I would love to go.

Isabel
cheers np, are you guys trying to sort out somewhere to stay? This place is fairly class, it works out at about €45 a night and it's a 3 star hotel...that price is unheard of in Ireland.

I'm just trying to get an idea of cost/locations of decent places around the theatre at the mo, but we will need to book eventually. If we book a hotel room for 2 people I'm sure we could sneak a few extras in no problem to split the cost. it's how we did it all tour that place looks pretty good. Yeah, it does look quite nice Haha well hopefully you can work something out! It's only an 8 min walk from Penn station, which makes getting to New Jersey for us quite easy I feel like this is just too good to be true though, like how on earth did this happen?
