This is why we were freakin' out last week about this --- Not because we didn't get to hear a new Green Day song, but because it's painfully obvious the guy's trying to pull a fast one on us all. And if not, then he's going about things really unprofessionally and super suspiciously, so it's no wonder we all changed into our angry pants. And I, for one, am still wearing mine.

I was all for giving the guy another chance, but this... first he's going to play it, but there are technical difficulties, which is totally possible and he shouldn't be damned for that. Then the second time, he "can't fit it in", which is kind of a bullshit excuse, but okay, it's still an acceptable excuse. But now suddenly he can't play it because there isn't a band and song name yet? Sorry, my friend, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

"Hey, I jumped the gun and can't play it yet. But I will as soon as permission is granted." Then everyone would understand and think more of him.

Hahahahaha, that's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. He could easily just say something like "and here's a brand new song by a collaboration with a little band called Green Day and indie artist Jesse Malin!" then play the song. This guy obviously doesn't have permission to play it or something so whatever. I'm sure it'll get released eventually.. hopefully. But for now I think I'm gonna stop getting my hopes up sunday nights haha.

He fucked around with us all night before the FBHT Don Hill's gig, and all day the day of. He gets off on riling up the Green Day fans. Chances are, the dude doesn't even have the song. He's pretty much a nobody who likes to boost his ratings by promises of Green Day exclusives. If you listen to him anyway, go for it. But don't go out of your way waiting. If Rossstar said he had it and was going to play it, I'd believe it and take my time to listen. But since it's Dick Russo- just... no.
