michael1989
Jesus of Surburbia and Homecoming. The first 10 or so times I listened to them I could barely make it through to the end. Thought they were way too overlong. But they both grew on me, especially once I learned the lyrics and could sing along.
drugstore hooligan
Most of Tre had to grow on me a little bit, i was kinda disappointed with it at first. Now i love it.
Spike
Also, Are We The Waiting. I hated how it never had a proper ending, going straight into St Jimmy. But seeing it live at Manchester Arena in 2005 was beyond amazing, the whole crowd joining in on the chorus changed how I felt about it.

MuricanIDIOT
When I first got into Green Day 4 years ago I hated everything before American Idiot, then eventualy gve them more listens still thought it sucked then eventually Dookie was my favorite album and I love their old stuff more than their most recent albums. lightfive
I used to only like Warning, Waiting and Macy's Day Parade on Warning but now I *love* the whole album. Also, I used to dislike Letterbomb due to the intro and now it's my second favorite Green Day song (first one's still Holden Caulfield which I also didn't like at the beginning) Both Warning and 21st CB took a little time until I fully appreciate them but now they're both on my top 3 Green Day Albums

Anaïs.
"Going to Pasalacqua" really surprised me by growing on me. Like a lot of their earlier songs, I didn't really appreciate it until I saw a live version (Jaded in Chicago); it was always my favorite from 39/Smooth, but it's now one of my favorites from pre-Dookie era period. Mojo_filter
Generally stuff like on AI and 21cb, but songs on nimrod like hitchin a ride, uptight, and the grouch took a while for me to like. Other than that, songs on Dos and Tre took a little bit.
