I pride myself in knowing all of the Aussie's names by the end of the Paris show...except for 1.

And lastly, all these mentions of the Aussies, why not have one of us on the show? we have funny accents and everything

 I'd actually love to have you on the show. But I'm pretty sure it's the middle of the night where you are when we record. But we could set something up to record earlier one week.

That'd be so cool. Especially if you add the audio of Billie yelling, "Aussie Aussie Aussie!" at one of the US shows because of them.

I love listening to the tour updates, but whenever I hear them I almost start crying, beacause I have never seen them live and probably won't get to for a while. God I wish i was J'net. I am no where near as awesome and nice as she sounds, though.

Hearing J'net talk about the the shows I went to got me all nostalgic  It was great meeting you for a short while before Manchester and after Marlay Park, I remember Isabel just chatting away to you while I just stood beside you two, thinking "Holy crap, it's J'net"

Ahhh J'Net, you were like 3-4 people to the right of me on the barrier in Manchester. That was a TERRIFYING show. Even at the end of the show when Tre threw out his drumsticks, they one happened to come in my direction but I knew I wasn't going to get it, so I didn't bother trying. But everyone else freaked and I ended up getting pushed to the ground and my legs got trampled on

Amazing show. Terrifying atmosphere.

Manchester was insanely rough! For the first two or three songs I was constantly having people landing on my head and neck from people being pulled out(obviously not their fault, but still, some people were HEAVY :pinch: ) But I didn't realize there were people trying to actually hurt each other :o I just put it all down to it being so hot and the fact that they had no golden circle in a venue with 30000+ people =/

I have to say, while I'm on the subject, the stampede after they opened the gates to Marlay Park was one of the worst experiences of my life(On one of the best days of my life, ironic  ) I just remember panicking so bad and convinced that I was gonna get trampled to death  Soooo worth it though

ahahaha

I'd have to buy a bigger case - mine was packed to the brim by the end of tour

start saving up now, so you can do the next tour!

I want a massive group of GDCers to do the world tour togther.

the GDC invading force :D

I'm saving up all my change from my lunch money each day for the next tour :happy: It's only 2-4 euro's a day, but it's slowly building up :D

I'm just so scared they're going to tour when I have exams in two years time

Overall, good episode guys, I can't wait to hear next weeks one to hear about your take on Billies Broadway debut :)

I only got a chance to listen to this just now because my internet hasnt been working, but jesus I cant beleive J'net mentioned me  And Andres of course! And I still can't beleive that the first and only time J'net ever tweeted at a Green Day show was for me, I feel really honoured and special  And I love you too J'net

Listening to your recap of the shows brought back some really amazing memories, that will definitely never leave my mind until I die!

And J'net described the setting of Marlay Park perfectly

Great podcast! I actually listened to all of it this time :P

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this, you guys put on an entertaining show. The intro is awesome as well! I really enjoyed hearing you guys talk about the musical and sharing everyone's dreams and despair about wishing to be there.

It was also great hearing about tour experiences from J'net and you all, really like the idea of more of that in the shows to come!

That was like Becki and I when we pointed Beej back towards him. I was going INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE! Becki was ballistic. We lost our voices. Everyone around us looked at us like we were insane. We were SO happy :D

Yeah, Jaymee, I know the feeling! I was on the barrier but surrounded by people I didn't know. I was grabbing and shaking them and yelling, "That's my friend!!!!" They all gave me plenty of space after that !

:D

also! J'net you said people go on the right side cause they get Billie attention. To which I say pfft, it's all about Mike! :P and Jason and Jeff :D

I was just as bad - I recognised usernames but I didnt know anyones faces and I was getting so confused!

nametags were a GREAT idea.

I don't mind staying up! I'm usually pretty nocturnal anyway, because thats when everyone else is online. I'd love to be on the podcast.

Is it just over skype or something like that?

This is a good idea. I like it. It's good.

even though Billie ALWAYS gets that chant wrong.

Well, as far as right corner goes, I wasn't talking about the Aussies in particular - just that so many people seem to swarm the right corner thinking Billie gives it more attention. But people who want to be with Mike and Jason usually end up facing the stage - not actually in the corner - that's where Liz, Tony, and I ended up in Dallas, and it was awesome! Of course, in Dallas, there was hardly anyone behind us during the show. The pit wasn't even full. So being in that position worked out great.

I usually prefer to be in one of the corners, though, because in a rough pit, I feel I have more stability there. And if I'm going to be in a corner, the left has become my favorite because it's a bit less crowded (for whatever reason :)).

And, btw, Jason will be anyone's homie! He's just a sweetheart of a guy .

I personally prefer end of the catwalk, but if I had to choose a corner I'd go for Jason's. I mean, no offence to Jason or anything, but I don't really care about watching him perform. I'm there to see the original 3, which I can do best if I'm in his corner. In one line of vision I can have all 3 of them in my view at once...I feel as though that when I'm on Mike's side, he's running around so much I'm left turning and looking and trying to find 35634 different things to focus on at once.

Though with the CANADIAN shows (that EVERYONE seems to forget about, hmph  ) I liked being in between Mike and Billie.

And I have eternal love and thanks and gratitude to the Aussies for befriending me and allowing me to share a little bit of their tour with them. I got rebound Aussie-love from the band by just being with them :D:wub:

Just finished listening to it. It was kind of difficult to understand J'net at times, because the quality of her audio wasn't very good :(

Other than that, great podcast, guys. It was a bit boring for me (too much Green Day), but that's the way it's supposed to be - it's a Green Day podcast after all.

I'm glad to see the podcast has been getting better and better lately

I agree with everything you just said :) I always go to the right of the actual corner, because then Mike is right in front of me :D or slightly further to the right is good too, if you can't get closer, I was halfway between Mike and Jason F heaps on the tour and it was amazing.

Jason is so awesome. Love him to death. In machester he looked so excited to see me. I'd like to think he recognized me from the Aussie shows but I know it was just from Munich, but it was really lovely.

naww Jaymee :D:wub: we love you too.

J'net is magnifcent
