Billie Joe to play St. Jimmy in the musical

I'm so overjoyed for Dawn!

And it's really great Billie Joe wrote a song about his Broadway experience!

Although it are just some basic chords slapped together (the main chords for Good Riddance, btw), his vocal performance is outstanding.

And that after a show, it's mindblowing.

But I do have to say, the lines "I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive like suicide" gave me fuel for thought.

Probably it has something to do with the Death of St. Jimmy, but still... 'Alive like suicide'.. Don't know

But, all in all, the guy sure knows how to write/perform an outstanding song on short notice!

maybe the "alive like suicide" is because when he kills himself as st jimmy, he always comes back to life to wave at the audience. im not sure though, its just what i thought it might mean.

this guy in back of me last night with asking the usher if any of the band members were there last night

so she said yeah one of them is in the show tonight

and the guy did not get it he was like oh oh where is he sitting ( so at this point i assumed he was talking about mike or tre )

so i turned around and said tre was here last night

so then he tells his kids CRE WAS HERE LAST NIGHT

so i just turn around in disgust COME ON MAN CRE ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I am so sorry I didn't get on here right away but I barely made it to my hotel room when I broke down

in tears. I have a lot to tell everyone but I just can't get my head around it yet. It was so surreal. I

head home in the morning I have to go straight to tattoo shop because I promised Billie I'd get

it tatted. He ask me if he could sign my arm and if he did would I get it tatted and I said yes

so I am headed straight to my tattoo artist from the airport before it wears off. I promise I will

give an overview of everything. Right now it's like a dream and I will use the plane ride home to

get my thoughts together and get my head wrapped around what happened to me this weekend.

But I will tell you this. I told him I 1st saw him in 1991 at Star club and the was the night I got my

1st Green Day concert battle scar when a guy crowd surfing kicked me in the mouth on accident

and I just had gotten braces and my mouth bleed bad and my boyfriend tried to fight the guy

and Billy remembered me he actually remembered that happening to me 19 yrs ago. He and I talked

a while about that. He was so easy to talk to. I promise you all I will tell all when I get home. Thank you

all for rooting for me and wishing me luck. I love my GDC family

SO HAPPY FOR DAWN

Me and a couple of other people got to accompany her on stage/backstage to meet Billie. I was all teary eyed when they were talking, especially when he hugged her and gave her a kiss. I was so in awe and so happy for her. We had no idea what was going to go on after the show till it was even happening! STARK is an A M A Z I N G guy. This would not have happened if it was not for him. I will let Dawn tell her story when she comes on here!

Reading this and seeing the photos made me so so so happy! You deserved it. I can't wait to read your "full review", I am going to love it. It's so nice that Billie even signed your arm, and that Stark made it all happen, that guy is amazing. And so are you.

BTW, just to let you guys know, the cast is a bit peeved about all the videos coming out from the show. I don't blame them.

They told us that some woman was in the front row at the matinee yesterday filming the entire show from behind her playbill.

Billie Joe literally took her camera away from her during the show.

thats understandable but i am so grateful for all the vids seeing as i'll never be able to see the show if i did see it though i don't think i'd film it, i'd be too wrapped up in the moment. gotta love billie for that though!
