My friend and I were talking about this today.

We were wondering how long he might have known that he was going to do this.

If you mean the camera than Andres has already said theres not gonna be any videos. Real shame.

I asked if there were any plans to release video of Billie performing and the two word reply i got was "No video."

Of course they might not have wanted me to announce something, so it could have been specific to that one night, but my understanding is that they didn't intend to release any kind of official video of it. Who knows what MTV will do with it. Very unlikely they'd air a lot of footage due to all the contracts and such with the actors. They could use it for an MTV news piece or something like that, but I doubt it'd be a lot of it. That's a whole lot of speculation from me though.

Ahaha :lol: Were you only focusing on Billie playing guitar in Green Day, rather than singing or what.. jk

Actually that may possibly have been it.

It was more of thinking Billie on broadway that seemed abnormal.

He does, but you have to wait an hour after the show, and there's a shitload of cops (and people) around. And you have to run to the stagedoor right after the show's over to get a good view.

My opinion? Worth it. ;)

Definitely! Thanks for the info :)

ugh an hour, really?

shit im gonna miss my train, oh well worth it

It is sooo worth it, we definitely have to!! if I can meet Billie, it will make my life.

There is another train you can catch, right?

Last time I was in the city, me and my friend didn't get to Mineola until late late (like 2:30), so I know I will be able to get back without a problem.

The Stage Door is going to be a madhouse with all those people. My gosh.

So does Billie Joe mainly go straight outside after the show is over or does he actually do the stage door inside?

I'm hoping for a autograph... which I doubt will happen

I think she's talking about the bar area where the cast has been known to hang out after the show.

There's a hallway that some of the cast go out of after the show is over that leads to the outside.

Yes, that too.

The stage door is outside- they're no longer doing the inside one in the hallway, and won't let people wait there anymore. Note I have no idea what they're doing on the weekend, when the bar is actually open after the show, I just know what I saw yesterday. They set up barricades from the doors where you enter, across the sidewalk to Billie's car, and people who hadn't seen the show totally wait at the barricades before the show lets out.

And Zach Quinto is in Angels in America at the Signature Theatre, technically it's off-Broadway. But it's supposed to be an amazing production, and I'm dying to see it.

The St. James is weird and the "stage door" is technically inside the theatre.

So does Billie come out that door or do you have to wait outside I wonder? Obviously, he has to come out somewhere, but still...

Really? How long have they been doing that?

Was Jason White just walking around yesterday without a bodyguard?

you would think green day fans would mob him also

During weekdays, the stagedoor is outside. During weekends (usually), the stagedoor is inside so people can get drinks still at the bar.

The balcony actually lets out right near the stage door - like if you go left after coming to the bottom of the stairs, you would go into the area where all of the actors are. To go out, you need to make a right and go out another door, into the graffiti hallway. They move everyone out of that hallway now, and you have to wait outside. I guess we were some of the last ones out last night 'cause when we went outside, there was already a mob there.

No bodyguard - he was in the lobby/hallway after the show all by himself, TRYING to make a phone call. He was nice enough to take pictures with us. Thanks to Beth - he looks thrilled, lol.

Great video. About as good as we're gonna get most likely and yes it's been mentioned, but he really does look like Jimmy from the JOS video. Too bad Billie's too old to play Jimmy in the movie version.

ahh, that was exactly what i was looking for! :runaround:

I don't know - I guess he wasn't expecting anyone else to come down into the lobby and thought he would have some privacy to make his call. We hung around pretty long after up in the balcony area taking pictures of the photo walls up there, so when we came down, it was just him. When we got done with him, he kinda looked scared and went back inside the stage door, lol.
