Mommy's Little Nightmare
Now you've said that... yep, that does sound pretty cool. I still have a hard time envisioning Billie as St. Jimmy, though. Like, in the complete attire and stuff. (is attire the right word?) The attire thing doesn't really phase me. The idea of Billie Joe doing it is just completely mindblowing to me. Getting to see him, not AT the musical, but IN it.. there are no words to describe the feeling that gives me. BillieJoeObsesser
I really wish I could go! I hate not living close enough to New York or even California during big GD events. But hope everyone who does go have a wonderful time!
Armageddon Flame.
Wow, I was hanging around with a group of Irish GDC'ers today and we brought up the rumour about him playing St Jimmy, I quote "It's never going to happen, if it does, its gonna be amazingly awful" So while reading my twitter on the bus home I got a bit of a surprise First reaction: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Second reaction: Wait this isn't a joke? ZOMG MUST GET TO NYC NOW Third reaction: This is either going to be absolutely amazing or a major epic fail. Current thoughts: I would do anything for a trip to New York right now

Holly
I just keep posting moaning about how I can't be there but I just can't get rid of this sicky gutted feeling in my stomach. I just went to the shop and bought three scratch cards cause I had a proper feeling like this is the time I need to win. But I didn't get a penny. Urgh I just don't know what to do, why can't this be in a few months not a few bloody days. FMLLLLLLLL
*withoutadoubt*
I, for one, am greatly anticipating hearing that voice shout "1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4!" and see him pop out that doorway ontop of the stairs. It's gonna be one of those moments of total and complete awe. Oh me too!! Does St Jimmy do much dancing in the show? My mind fails me now, but I don't think so - not like the other cast members do. He more or less does his own thing. I agree with what you said after, too - this is just an amazing experience for him and for us, and I am again, so proud!! There's a bit of dancing, but it's mostly like... aggressive and really jerky, violent movements. The dancing in American Idiot isn't your typical dancing. Like, him playing the role, that whole... thing. Attire clearly wasn't the right word, haha.

I guess during Know Your Enemy St. Jimmy does some sort of movemements - I guess my point was that the stuff he does do is nothing BJ can't handle. Photos. there better be photos of THAT! and i know it's impolite in the theater, but of course I would absolutely LOVE to see or hear recorded footage of at least part of his performance.
