Fuzz
Yeah I'm in agreement with Andres..... my volume is pretty low the whole time...... except in certain places its normal. Pretty annoying Yeah it is pretty quiet. I think levelator hates you or something. Because I notice that if anyone of us is talking your volume goes way down. Dai.
Well, that was......pretty ridiculous, to be honest. I still feel like there are too many people in the episodes. Matt could barely get a word in, and what with his voice being so low, it's next to impossible to hear him with the rest of you talking and laughing at the same time. Andres, I know you said you're still gonna be at least 4 in every episode, but I'd like to voice my opinion one more time. I'm not saying any of you should be kicked out, I believe each of you add something to the podcast. Andres has a great voice for this type of thing, and he's the "leader", to put it that way, Mikey's funny, and so is Alex (+ great type of voice for this, too) and Matt is the only one who is properly up to date with the Green Day news, and even though no one seems to pay attention to him, he tries to steer the conversation back to Green Day. This is a Green Day podcast, after all. So yeah, you all add something good to the podcast, but it's kind of difficult to see that when you're all talking at the same time. Perhaps you could have 3 people in each podcast and alternate between Mikey and Matt? Meaning, one episode there's Matt, Alex and Andres, the next one have Mikey instead of Matt, and so on. Point number two, what was up with all that random talk? It was funny at times, yeah, but there were barely any Green Day news at all, and the podcast was 70 minutes long. With Green Day news only, you could have wrapped it up in 10 or 15 minutes. I'm not saying get rid of the random talk completely, because I like that, I like that more than the actual Green Day news that I don't care about half of the time. I'm saying there needs to be a certain balance between Green Day and random stuff. Say, if Green Day news would take up 15 minutes of the podcast, it seems pretty ridiculous to me that you spent the other 55 talking about random shit. That podcast could have been considerably better, had it been 30 minutes shorter. I don't think you guys do this on purpose, it does seem to come very naturally to all of you, but perhaps you should try to focus more on the fact that it is a Green Day podcast, for other (thousands of) people to enjoy, not just you four. And I know others enjoy it too, obviously, but I think you guys should be putting a show for the public, rather than have a typical conversation amongst friends. This leads me to point number three. Inside jokes. I don't feel they add anything to the podcast, considering most people have no idea what you're talking about, and you won't even show it on the notes. I know what was going on in the Skype chat with those text messages while you were recording, and I think perhaps you should ...share those with your friends some other time, and focus on what's going on with the podcast instead. I think that's all for now, hopefully you guys won't hate me for thinking the podcast is less than great sometimes, and I don't want to offend anyone. P.S: I think it's pretty ridiculous you all seem to know the lyrics/beat to "Man! I Feel Like A Woman", but in a good way. I love Shania

P.S: I think it's pretty ridiculous you all seem to know the lyrics/beat to "Man! I Feel Like A Woman", but in a good way. I love Shania My first reaction is that the only reason we do this is because it's fun for us. Yes, we want it to be entertaining for the people listening as well, but the reason we've gotten through 15 episodes is because we enjoy being chatty with each other. I looked at the recording time 3 times, 8 minutes in, 29 minutes in, then at the end. Sometimes it just goes by so quickly and I just kinda get lost in what we're talking about. The conversation veers all over the place, because we do like for it just be a conversation amongst friends that we record. But I do agree with the inside jokes. Having the 4 of us laughing at something only the 4 of us know about isn't very funny to anyone but us. This podcast could have been shorter, there was once while we were recording when i thought about wrapping up, but we were still having fun. This episode was special in that there wasn't much Green Day news, and we all felt like talking and being chatty and ridiculous with each other. That's just how it turns out. Some days the shows will be shorter when we don't feel like talking as much, sometimes we can't get enough of each other. As for going from 4 to 3 people, I can see the benefit of doing that, but I also feel like the shows would be a little less fun if it wasn't us 4. If we thought about doing that, I'd be happy to skip an episode here and there because I think it could be just as strong without me. That's something we'll have to talk about at some later point. I think it works with the 4 of us. No doubt it could be better, but it could always be better, whether it was just me and Alex, or all 4 of us. Vrock09
I personally love when everyone is on there, but it can be a bit confusing at times only because you guys try to talk over each other. I would like to know what the hell you guys are talking about sometimes but it never makes it any less entertaining. And....maybe try to let Matt get a word in? I loved this episode, and Andres' "lets go girls" couldn't have been any better! Its a bad idea to listen to the podcast while typing a paper because I submitted an essay and I just re-read it and it says......."A Breach of Confidential Communication means an unauthorized poop on release of information" Ugh god I hope she skips over that part! And if the podcast had turned out to be a major fail and no one listened to it/cared about it, I am not sure you would have gotten through 15 episodes. And I like that you guys are good friends and have good chemistry and such, that's great for the podcast. Some of the conversations you have (or how far you let them go) I believe are not very fitting for the podcast itself. And you can have fun being chatty and ridiculous outside of the podcast, too. And I'm not saying you shouldn't do this during the podcast, but rather, not so much to the point where it becomes 10% green day, 90% random stuff. And then again, the majority of people seem to really enjoy it, so my opinion obviously doesn't mean you guys are actually doing anything wrong. Moffie
Finally finished and this podcast made me feel like I was back in high school with the other Drama Club Kids. Only they didn't like me so they excluded me from their inside jokes and other fun games so that was never a fun feeling for me. Most of the podcast, I had no idea what you guys were doing even though parts were pretty funny. People liked it but I just felt excluded most of it. Dumb, I know. I could barely hear Matt and it was annoying me and Mikey's laugh seemed to overpower his voice so I kept missing the zingers. Eh but why should you care what I think? The 99.9% liked it. I think I was part of the .1% that was confused mostly.

So far, I've noticed that you are the only one ~complaining~ about the way the podcast is ran. Either that, or people aren't speaking up. Andres is right, I really don't give a crap about whether or not people "like" our topics (or what we talk about)....... WE have fun doing it and as long as it gets downloads, some positive feedback, and we enjoy doing it, we are going to keep on doing it! I don't think the four of us care about our perception (at least I don't).

And the way you seem to be reacting to my post kind of goes against your statement about "not giving a crap" if people like it or not. And as I've previously stated, I am aware that most people seem to enjoy the podcasts, but I am not going to stop voicing my opinion just because it's different.
