Haha, again with the ice crunching! That's not good for your teeth Matt. And Alex was really chowing down on that pizza; I could hear all the smacky chewy noises from him. And Taylor was a nice addition this week too. :)

You know what I just realized? The podcast "saves" people.

I mean think about it, the podcast is knocking people off of bikes, beds, couches....

Now whenever I listen to EJN and hear the slower "A fire burns today..." part I picture that poor girl falling of her bike.

Hahah I love how you read the mail I sent you! You totally mispronounced my name but thats okay. I forgive you (: "Meylin" hahah, you almost got it right the second time though! I've been sick all day, so I just sat under a blanket and whined about my fever on twitter while listening to the podcast, and then Andres said something that sounded awfully a lot like my name, and when I heard that it actually was the last sentences of the km long mail I sent you a week ago or something I was like "HOLY SHIT!" and started laughing hysterically because I didn't realize how creepy it sounded before now! You do have a sexy voice though, Matt. Seriously. And FYI it's actually polite to say "thank you" when someone compliments you ... HINT HINT ..

totally just remembered a thought I had when listening.

when mikey mentioned American History X, some how my brain found it's way to the thought Canadian History X, and trying to imagine what that would be like.

I thought it was funny

You know, one time when I was telling my friend about the podcast, I told her about the Whale sounds bit from a few podcasts ago, and when I did we both laughed our asses off. Unfortunately, we didn't see the stairs in front of us and I fell and pulled her down with me.

Luckily, we were not harmed, just a few scratches here and there.

I just found this video on my suggestions list. I figured it would help give people examples on how to save the children.

Extra points if the kids start to pretend to convulse.

Hey guys,

I am the dad in the family you met at C.B. Potts before the show. It was great meeting all of you and we just listened to the podcast. Thanks for the words and recognizing true fans. Jacob, the Know Your Enemy stage-diver, has been a local celebrity for sure and has been freaked about it since last Saturday. My other son, Jesse, got up there during the Paper Lanterns group thing. It was such an amazing experience for us and the kids. I first saw Green Day in 1994 at Irvine Meadows in CA at the KROQ Weenie Roast and have been a huge fan since. Minica (you met at the restaurant too) and I never thought we would top our trip this past spring to NY to see the musical and the Foxboro Hot Tubs show at the Bowery. Last Saturday was right up there and to see my boys bounce, smile and freak out over GD is so cool. My youngest daughter is also a big fan who loves Poprocks and Coke, Good Riddance (they always used to say "play the fork stuck in the road song daddy") and Static Age .

Great job on the website and it was awesome meeting you guys before the most incredible show ever. The shirts were a tipoff, but recognized Janet from the SPIN mag pic right away.

Hope to see many of you at future Green Day shows. I am just slightly older than the band, so I should last as long as they do.

Rock on,

Paul

Just got a chance to listen to this, great stuff! I enjoyed hearing about your first Green Day show experience Alex. I met the wonderful J'net, Tony and Beth amoung others at my first one too, I concur about the awesomeness of meeting GDCers :D. Glad you had such a good time.

I must say I really enjoy the little intro every week, especially the many fabulous Mike clips contained within it
