Catsername
Billie Joe Armstrong, professional ass-kisser. Nahh, I think it's great he enjoys playing live shows so much, and also great that he shows it and tells people about it. That it's not just another show, but every show is special in its own way Well said and I agree. But what about the shows that he didn't tweet about? Did he have too much fun that he couldn't get his fingers to text right?

Did he have too much fun that he couldn't get his fingers to text right? Hehe. I would think about it that way... I assume it has to do with how fast his days are going... To state the obvious, if he's got some down time, he's more likely to think about tweeting... I mean, if I recall correctly, Chula Vista didn't get a tweet, and we all thought it was an amazing show... But he was headed home... He was also SUPER TIRED for Chula... So much so, that he looks a little grey around the eyes in some of my pics... I speculate, of course...

They give SO much to their shows... When I tell people that they played for 3 hours in all their shows this tour, people are amazed... They're entertainers, pure and simple... Some of the very best that I've seen... So I'm not really worried about a couple goofy tweet flukes... I'm just happy that Beej is tweeting at all. It's awesome that he figured it out and does it for the fans... I hope that he knows how much we all love it! Superman... pppbbbbbt. Too much of a boyscout... Fink would smash him, Rev would piss on him (or out drink him), St Jimmy would give him the finger, and Billie... well... Billie would one up him in the showmanship catagory... So... I think we've got it all covered... Billie Joe Armstrong is better than Superman... I'd love to see Beej in a cape... hehe... Beautiful... *wipes away a tear* I wish you guys could see the cartoons in my head... Yes, I think in cartoons most of the time... (btw, I really don't like Superman as a hero... He's too much of a 'god', and I find it boring).

He was just the first super-powered person that popped in my mind (if that made sense) I love what you said though. They are definitely entertainers, you can tell how much they love it when they're on stage. It's wonderful that they can make a living doing what they love most. Well said. I still can't understand how Billie manages to sing, scream, jump and run for 9 minutes in Jesus of Suburbia. I say St Jimmy would throw Kryptonite at Superman Haha now that would be some movie. And yeah Billie has so much energy all of the time I see him that it doesn't cross my mind that the words "Billie" and "tired" can be used in the same sentence. I remember after my first(and only, this far) green day concet, my dad also went(eventhough he wasn't in the pit with me) and his first comment (after I've started rambling about how amazing they were) was that he was amazed how Billie's voice could stay for 3 hours of screaming, and how they seemed to never get tired... and yeah.. it's great how he've learned how to tweet, it's great to get small insights in his mind

You never think about their energy level because they deliver. They play sick. They play tired... You know it's bad when they say something about it... At Chula, Billie said, "I'm really feeling this tonight." And I knew it, too. When he was going to do the head stand during BoBD and gave up without trying, I KNEW it was bad... I thought, 'Awwww... Billie...' It BLOWS ME AWAY that they're out there kicking ass SO HARD with so little energy... I think that's why he pulled Adie out on stage... A little morale boost, so to speak. I thought that was SUPER adorable, too... AAAaaaand they're pushing 40... I'm 28, and I couldn't do what they do. I'd collapse. These are all reasons why I love and respect these guys so much... No matter what anyone else says about them.

TheSaltOfTheEarth
Beej totally beats any super hero any day. Hands down. He's pushing FORTY. How is it even possible to do what he does? My dad's only six years older and he can't carry a two-year-old on his back for three seconds.
