His acting in Haunted wasn't that good, but he knows the character/lines/musical enough to do a good job in my opinion. Plus I'm guessing he's been practicing for this,he wouldn't be doing it if he was just going to make a fool out of himself about 8 times in one week. I'm not going to judge it when it hasn't even happened yet. What's the chance of this getting recorded? I'm just having trouble picturing Billie in the play for some reason, haha. With all of the choreography and lines, etc. Sounds like it would be a lot of work for someones that's never been on Broadway before, y'know.
