lizziebix
I just freaked my boss out with my laughter! Need not listen at work anymore! One thing though: on the other podcasts is sounds like Andres is on the left and Alex is on the right (if they were seated in the same room). On this one it's the opposite? Did you change something in the recording? Or am I just crazy and no one else has noticed this?
captain peroxide
I'm usually on the left. That's how I mix it.
lizziebix
I'm usually on the left. That's how I mix it. Uh huh!! I know this is a bullshit answer since I have audio training from your very own university. But thanks for the laugh.
captain peroxide
No, seriously I mean, we're not in the same room, obviously, but I always mix it so that my track pans to the left and Andres' pans to the right.
Fuzz
I can confirm this.

Moffie
Prolly "Prolly?" So that's why I can never hear Alex that well. My earphones only work on one side and it's on Andres' side.
Wolfdemon
Ok sorry Andres but once again I have to be picky about the audio levels. For this episode they were good like they didn't sound mono and sounded stereo, but Alex was a lot louder than you and Mike. You're too soft spoken Try to get those levels up more.. You guys can probably alter the audio levels before putting the podcasts up so they sound more even. But loved the podcast as always.
Fuzz
I think my volume was turned downed a bit because it was pretty high while we were recording. But i'm not sure. I was a bit quiet in the final thing though.

Yes, I know you're not in the same room, but seriously, on 1-6 it sounded like you were on the right and Andres on the left. And this one is the opposite. (And no, my ear buds were not reversed.) Just didnt' know why. Also, Andres has a bit of an echo. I think in most of the podcasts. Not complaining, Alex. Just making comments for improvement. (?) Because I love these weekly conversations and they truly are getting better and better. (And to Andres: I'd hate to see you remove them from the forum. I don't see why it's such a big deal to people that they are listed separately in their own topic. It makes it very easy to find.)
captain peroxide
Yeah, the echo is my fault. I discovered the headphones I was using were leaking a little too much sound out into the surrounding airspace, which apparently was getting picked up by my mic. On the latest podcast, there shouldn't be any echo like that, because I changed to a new pair of headphones. As for the panning thing no idea. Maybe I mixed them wrong, I dunno. But as far as I can remember, it's always my practice to put me on the left, Andres on the right and any guests in the middle. It's also difficult to get the audio to be at the right level all the way through, because people do speak softer and louder at different times, or lean in closer to the mics. I don't particularly want to normalize the tracks, because that removes a lot of the nuances. So it's always tough to get the audio levels to match, because in some places they will, and in some, they won't.

FugitiveofCriticalTwi
I was laughing so damn hard at this episode... the part with Twilight killed me.... xD "I stood up and clapped when Taylor Lautner came on" LMFAO XDDDD i hate twilight, but that was HILARIOUS XD
ParadoxAndPlaid
This episode is really funny. Good job guys. I totally agree about the people who say Green Day needs to go back to a Dookie style. If Green Day had never changed, the same people now who say they 'don't like the new stuff', would be saying 'it all sounds the same, blehhh they're scared to move on'

J'net
Bahahahaha OK I just listened to this. Bravo boys, bravo I just got to listen to this one yesterday, too - I was trying to catch up on everything I've fallen behind on because of work. Laughing and crying at the same time is so painful, but it feels so good! This one is a classic!
