Spike
For the longest time I thought that KYE said "They'll be blinded by the light in their eyes." I wish that WERE what it said, because "Don't be blinded by the lies in your eyes" is completely retarded. I thought that too and I still refuse to acknowledge I was wrong. I agree, what we thought is far better.
jacknovella
In Android, I always thought 'It keeps my head spinning around' was 'It keeps my husband in the ground' haha. I only recently found out I was wrong, still doesn't stop me hearing it that way though xD
Spike
It took me until today to realise Brat doesn't go: Got a plan of action and cold blood And it smells of deep fried eggs I'll just wait for Mom and Dad to die And get my share of the eggs
Cym
In Dirty, Rotten Bastards I first heard "I've got the urge, the pigeon's urge!" I know it's stupid, but I can't unhear it now.

CemeteryDrive
My mum had a similar mis-hearing. Only difference was she thought it was "Another turnip boy". My mum had this too... Weird!
MayIWasteYourTimeToo?
my mom use to sing "some times I wish a mother bear would find me" in boulevard of broken dreams, and my sister use to sing 'she, shes my white whore" in wild one.......and I did indeed laugh out loud I definitely thought "Sitting undisturbed, it's what I deserve.." in Blood, sex, and Booze was, "Sitting on the stove, it's what I deserve.." and totally off topic, but in Marilyn Manson's "the beautiful people" ... for the longest time I thought he was saying "The beat of a meatball" I use to think it was "see? im disturved, its what I deserve..." hahaha

Catpiss
I remember I used to hear "desperado, of the night" instead of "this beretta, of the night" in Peacemaker...
HolyHandGrenade
There was a "misheard lyrics" version of "Holiday" on YouTube that was bloody hilarious; been taken down by Warner now, unfortunately. Mykee Mexx
You mean this? youtube.com/watch?v=s-jCrxQ8] That´s exactly the youtube fun that started my interest in Green Day about two years ago.

Anaïs.
I still hear "I've got the urge to pitch and surge" in DRB, which I actually think is a better lyric.
jwalks619
DOOKIE: In "Chump" I thought Billie said "Well maybe I'm just done" instead of dumb Dead honest, in "Welcome to Paradise" I thought Billie said "Some college sluts" instead of "Some call it slums" In "Pulling Teeth" I thought he said "Is she ultraviolet" instead of ultra-violent Since I was about 10 years old, in "She" I thought he said "To smash the silence with the brink of self-control" instead of "To smash the silence with the brick of self-control" INSOMNIAC: In "Westbound Sign" I thought he said "Fucked up, along with everything" instead of "Boxed up all, of her favorite things" and I thought he said something like "solderers and radio tell" instead of "Sold the rest at a rainy yard sale" In "Walking Contradiction" it sounds like "Some kids cheap" instead of "Talk is cheap" Lol, my favorite one, the fist line of "Tight Wad Hill" sounds like "Cheesecake on the hill" instead of "Cheapskate on the hill" AMERICAN IDIOT: In "Are we the Waiting" it sounds like he says "Are we we are the waiting or not" instead of unknown Edited January 16, 2014 by jwalks619

I'm pretty sure the word is 'dumb', but it could be anything really, as with lots of the lyrics!

Popular Post Hermione
In Westbound Sign, the first verse used to sound like "Blah blah, bla bla bla bla bla bla-ah blah blah blah bla bla blah blah blah blah blah blah bla blah blah blah bla bla, westbound sign" to me.
