Milo Goes To Pasalacqua
'Stay The Night': "I got a nipple so impulsive that it burns."
She is Amanda
about ten minutes ago, I found out the lyrics to the grouch were "The world owes me so fuck you" not "The world's ugly so fuck you"
TheNimrod51
Not sure if this counts but everytime i search 99 Revolutions on youtube there's a suggestion saying "99 red balloons". I kept singing that instead of revolutions and it's quite entertaining
Todd
^That's just what the random person who posted it on that site thinks it is. The band's never put out official lyrics for it so any lyrics you find are just someone's guess. Ahh, the old spinning/standing, puke/feet debate. Personally, I think it's "my head is spinning underneath my feet". However, listening now, the word "head" sounds very odd and I think even that could be something else. I don't think it's possible to solve this mystery. of course when I go to listen to it to see for myself, I listen to all of desenstized before I realized I clicked the wrong song. I FIGURED IT OUT!!! It's "My odor???fumes" I FIGURED IT OUT!!!! YES!!!
The Pedestrian
It is most definitely “my head is spinning underneath my feet”. Although, it does sound kind of like “my hair is standing up, don’t need my feet”, but even BJ wouldn’t sing something that nonsensical.... Hermione
I enjoyed singing "RAW HAM" very much when I saw Green Day last week. Thanks, this thread! No. When you listen to it loud, it's not head or feet. Don't forget this is Billie we're talking about, so the way he sings a word isn't necessarily gonna sound anything like how the word sounds . I still say it's "My head is spinning underneath my feet".
holyshitaflyingbanna
I always thought that in Letterbomb it was "where will all the mortars go" but its actually "where will all the martyrs go" The first time I heard Homecoming I thought that the line went "I started fucking running as soon as my pizza drowned" and I thought it was really stupid so I checked it and felt stupid...
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua
Whoa, been away from GDC for a while and just figured there's a new like button. Time to abuse the HELL outta it. Anyway, since i just got the special edition of AI in the post yesterday (and for the first time owned a lyrics booklet for AI) i'm figuring out the correct lyrics to songs i've been listening to for YEARS and didn't know i had wrong. From St. Jimmy: "I'm the resident weener of the lost and found." From Extraodinary Girl: "He lacks the courage in his mind/Like a child left behind/Like a pig left in the rain." And quite a few other ones.

Jesus Of Pasalacqua
When I was about 8 I used to think Billie said "When I call Lorena" instead of "When I come around"
k-tea
For the longest time when Good Riddance first came out, and I was younger, I thought it was "It's something unpredictable, the indian was right". It kind of makes sense?
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua
He lacks the courage in his mind Like a child left behind Like a PIG left in the rain. From Extraodinary Girl. So pig is right after all? Funny, i have the special edition and it says "Like a pet left in the rain." Does the standard version's inlay not say that? Todd
So pig is right after all? Funny, i have the special edition and it says "Like a pet left in the rain." Does the standard version's inlay not say that? Standard version also says "Like a pet left in the rain". Which is funny cause i left my dogs out in the rain this morning. ThibautDookie
The first time that i listened to 86, i thought that Billie said "There is no return from the antics".
tommy_huggs
When I was younger I used to think the lyrics to chump was 'I said but dad that doesn't make much sense' instead of 'a circumstance that doesn't make much sense'
Backyard Skulls
For years I thought 'I'm just roaming for the moment, sleazin' my back yard so don't get so uptight' was "I'm just roaming for the moment sitting in my backyard with a tankard" um
BradGreenDay
the first time I listened to nuclear family on the japan tour update video... at the end when it's like 5-4-3-2-1.... Todd
If you listen to the first line of Best Thing In Town- is it Come with me OR Got my key? There's no official lyrics and I really wanna know. Cause both work Edit: nevermind. found this video where mike explains it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqRj5heNKEI
Jessicabasketcase
This is really stupid... when I would to listen to my dad play his GD records back in the day when I was a kid, right up until a few years ago I always thought the lyrics in chorus to Blood, Sex and Booze were "I'm in this dress" instead of I'm in distress... oops
Anja
Before I read the lyrics for Oh Love the first time, I thought Billie was singing "Oh losers and jesus" instead of "and choosers"
