BJA TC MD
I'm pretty sure it is "We are the class of, the class of thirteen". I heard that too. I once heard "I'm the start of all you love" instead of "I'm the son of rage and love"
DoodleBob
no, it's definately "We are the cries of the class of thirteen" if you listen too it really loud it's easier to understand No, it's "We are the class, the class of 13." That's one of the main themes on the album.
mallorymaloney
In the demo, though, it actually was 'we are the cries of'. In the final cut of the song, it's 'we are the class of, the class of'.
BJA TC MD
I used to hear "and can you hear the sound of the stereo" instead of "and can you hear the sound of hysteria" in American Idiot
Hermione
In the demo, though, it actually was 'we are the cries of'. In the final cut of the song, it's 'we are the class of, the class of'. Yeah this is correct. And it doesn't make any difference that it's one of the main themes on the album, both versions of the lyric say "Class of '13" in them. americanidiot812
in viva la gloria i always heard "your slogans are gone for hire" instead of "your slogan's a gun for hire" until i listened to an a capella version lol No, it's "We are the class, the class of 13." That's one of the main themes on the album. i listened to it again, you're right

Popular Post Sweet Armataged Chump
Someone put a comment on YouTube for When I Come Around: "Well, I heard it all before. Sell donuts at my door." It so sounds like that.
kellista
I have no idea why but in JOS I always heard " while moms at bride silhouette" instead of "while the moms and brats are away" lol

Grem
In the chorus of Jaded, this is all I hear. "There is no forward, Joey's shovel gets underwear. There is no crabgrass, evolution killed an O, I found my place in nowhere."
Elleny
I misheard the beginning of "Jaded" as "somebody take my pants, I think they're falling off" instead of "Somebody keep my balance I think I'm falling off". Actually in regard to the "saggy pants incident" somewhat funny.

Cre Tool.
In No one knows, I always thought its "But when you think of me, fill your head with shame." instead of "But when you think of me, do you fill your head with schemes." Yojimbo
I always thought that Billie sang "Sometimes my mind play streaks on me" instead of "tricks on me". On a side note, could someone figure this out for me...? My sister and I are arguing about BOBD lyrics where Billie sings "Don't know where it goes but its _______ me". My sister thinks its "only me" and I think its "home to me"!!!!
pretty_and_demented
Also, in murder city I thought it was " I just wanna know the secret" instead of " I just want to bum a cigarette"
