Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
And Coming Clean "Secrets collecting dust but never forget" I thought was "Seagulls call and change us but never forget" I used to hear it as "secrets call and change us but never forget" I like seagulls better though
Mystery
The first artificial Earth satellite in the world has now been created Well until reading this I always sang 'The first artificial burst dynamite in the world has now been created'. And it always took the edge off the song because I never understood why you would wish to create a pre-burst dynamite!
Iain
This thread is making me laugh very hard  Is it true if you play "Good Riddance" backwards, you will hear a clearly audible line saying "You will cross the line with Mustard"? I dunno, it's something I read >< EDIT: - Here it is backwards. Apparently someone found at 2:02 "I left the salad on the shelf that I sleep" I do kinda hear the word mustard >< Edited July 8, 2010 by iainspad

Jaymee!!
bahahahahaha Your version is full of win. The thing is it still ties into being high perfectly, so I seriously thought that's what the lyrics were right up until last year when I was looking through different song lyrics. I was really upset when I found out they were different If anything, I hear "Must passed through line with mustard". 0:25-0:28 not exactly clear though. Around 1:16 I definitely hear the words 'that we put out'. And then at 2:03 I hear 'the salad on this shelf that I sleep' It's interesting to hear what words are formed when you play things backwards. Obviously nothing is intentional, but it's still crazy. Smbcf
Instead of "an export of the revolution" in Maria, I thought it was "a something something of a one night shag" I think it's about time I studied Green Day lyrics HARD because I think I'm singing the wrong lyrics to alllll the songs hahaa. There's also something like "Sarah you must know I'm gay" when you play WMUWSE backwards.
LetItBeHappy
words get trapped in my mind pictures go through my mind lol that sounds a lot like The one I want ! from Boulevard of broken dreams: " I work in a lonely wood ........I work alone, I work alone, I work alone and work a ..." ...my brother says that Billie gibber all the time and that maybe he don't even speaks english...ahahah... LMFAO!!!! (yeah, I'm dangerous with Paint) at 0:42 is also the same line as at 0:25, but then it sounds like "must cash this line with mustache" Yeah. I insist that it was Billie's way to keep Mike away from his (then) wife I miss the rumours thread
Smoothed Out
In nice guys finish last, during the chorus I used to think it was 'when you're running out of gas' but it's actually 'when you are the outcast' Oh and in AI, I always sang 'and that's enough to work you' but listening to the broadway album, they say 'enough to argue'it does make more sense, but I actually hage never read the lyrics so

Hermione
When I listen to Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, I always think of "I walk alone" as "I wore cologne" at least once. I've never actually thought that's what he was singing , but I like to imagine it is. "Ballin' in broken glass..." is really "Fallin' in broken glass..." LOL from Viva La Gloria! Bahaha! Also, I see on Rock Band they have the Know Your Enemy lyric as "Well gotta know the enemy, RO HAY!" . So close to RAW HAM! I had to stop singing and start the song again because I was laughing. In the first verse it's "You're running out of gas", in the choruses it's "when you are the outcast"

Isabel
In nice guys finish last, during the chorus I used to think it was 'when you're running out of gas' but it's actually 'when you are the outcast' I kneeeeeeeeeew it!!! It has been killing me, trying to work out what he has been singing at every show this summer during Nice Guys Finish Last. He bloody well replaced "when you ran out of gas" with "when you are the outcast" each time it came up! I remember wondering at all the shows I went to....I was trying to listen out really carefully but I couldn't catch it. I especially noticed it at the soundcheck in Marlay Park because his voice was so clear. I couldn't work out what he was saying, all I knew was that it definitely wasn't "When you ran out of gas." I now know that he was singing "When you are the outcast" this entire time. Wow, you have managed to inadvertently clear it up for me. Thank you so much.
