LaughingClock
I think it just means how he thinks erverone is bisexual which he has always said. He wouldn't say "everyone is happy and everyone is happy" so why would the gay not mean as in bi or homosexual. He's on the record as believing everyone is bi without social norms. I don't agee but whoever wrote the lyric is brilliant. Was it really Sam Cooke?

Let me tell you 'bout a place Somewhere up a New York way Where the people are so gay Twistin' the night away

It's really brilliant. I've actually never seen an unabashed tribute to a legend's influences as this album is. Its honestly so great and unique. Have you guys noticed that Chasing The Ghost sounds almost identical musically to Stay The Night? Just realized it. I hope they keep playing Stay The Night. He so obviously loves playing that song.

Now that you say it, it does sound like Stay The Night. CTG and other Longshot songs are just like Trilogy songs but with deeper lyrics. Stay The Night is amazing, no wondrr that I love CTG too. Chasing is a lot more emotional imo though

CTG as I said earlier I believe is one of his most, and maybe his most vulnerable he’s ever put himself and I include WMUWSE. But were off topic and the fuzz are on to me. Actually I love this thread and plan to make it a cofee table book on its tenth year in 2 years. I’d buy one. 1
Popular Post East Jesus of Suburbia
Getting back on topic (sorry for killing the conversation), the most I've ever laughed at a Green Day song is the first time I listened to Tight Wad Hill: "Banana ride Burning daylight" 1

I say again, typical Billie but agree, a word play and a tribute to Sam Cooke all in one, I love it. 2

Jirachi
I used to think "Marching out of time to my own beat now" was "Marching out of time to my own denial" and idk if it makes sense in the slightest xP
