ChemicEmotions
Ehm, isn't those the lyrics?Oh no, it's YOUR RUNNING out of gas... or at least says so att greendayauthority.com but that wasn't a huge different, was it? It makes just as much sense both ways..I thought it was "Nice guys finish last, when you are the outcast". o.o
rizuchan
my friend thought he sung "jimmysays it's better than air I always thought that, too. What else...Like most everyone else, I misheard lyrics in "The Grouch". I thought "Wasted youth and a fistful of ideals" was "Wasted youth and a fistful of vitals" like, vital organs. I thought, 'ouch...'Hitchin' a Ride, with "I'm off the wagon and i'm hitchin' a ride" I thought was "I'm up a wang and i'm hitchin' a ride" o.O And when I first had my friend listen to Insomniac and she was reading the track listing, she thought "Walking Contradiction" said "Walking Contraception"
farley drexel hatcher
When i first heard The Grouch i mistook the line "Wasted youth and a fistful of ideas" as "Waste youth and a fistful of Vi pills". Seriously....and the only Vi pills i could think of were viagra. Which actually goes with the song if you think about it, but....yeah.

A Girl Called Kill x3
in give me novacainewhen he says Jimmy says it better than herei thought it was jimmy says its better than an earI thought it was, "Jimmy says it's better then air." M.J.
Argh! This keeps happening to me and I'm always so embarrassed afterwards...I just looked up the lyrics to "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars because I staple the lyrics to songs that I like on my wall. When he says "Bury me! Bury me!" I'd been thinking AND singing, "Marry me! Marry me!" fuck.
Pixiegirl
Well I can't understand a word Fall Out Boy says in their shitty songs. I like their songs - their album is good. If you can't understand what Pat S is singing, just read the lyrics. That's what I did. It's what I do if I'm not sure of the words - it's not difficult. But yeah, I know what you mean. I get the lyrics wrong sometimes, can't think of any specific examples, but it's happened! lol!

I thought they said "They're bumming in a straight line" "the kids are in the land mines". They really say "They'e forming in a straight line" "the kids are losing their minds"

greenday44
well, for when I come around, the words are kinda meshed together, and I believed and still do, at beginning, he SUPPOSEDLY is supposed to be saying:"I heard you crying loud, all the way across town"But everytime I listen, it seems like this:"I heard you crying loud, all the way I could(or I'd) hear the sound"Is it just me, or what?? But doesn't the across town part seem totally wrong to anyone else? And in minority, I though he was saying "YOU WILL YOU WILL SEE" instead of "YOU ARE YOUR OWN SITE"And in scattered, I heard something totally different in th chorus, but can't remember what it was anymore... but I know it was way off...And in worry rock, I heard "I'm knocked down dragger to find, _______ of open wounds" even though its actually "A knocked down dragged out fight Fat lips and open wounds"But I think mine sounds better still with the fat lips part added...And other mistakes were just minor ones such as in favourite son, I heard "But isn't it a drag? Its pretty but its sad" and its actually "But isn't it a drag? It's pretty bloody sad"etc. etc. For green day songsSongs from other bands I can't really remember, but I've made a lot of errors with countless song/bands
